The History of Huang Zhang in Pubei, Guangxi

Huangzhang Town, Pubei County, Guangxi was founded in Jingtai period of Ming Dynasty. Legend has it that many local dignitaries bought Hepu pearls at first. Zhang and Huang's ancestors opened an inn to sell tea, porridge and other commodities, and provided accommodation and catering. Since then, the market has gradually expanded, because the place originated in Zhang and Huang, hence the name "". In 1930s, due to disputes between the two sides, Huangzhang Town once ruled the river and was divided into Zhanghuangdong Town and Zhanghuangxi Town. Huangzhang Town is one of the places where students of Huangpu Military Academy are located. Many soldiers of the Fourth Army and the 19th Route Army (both Guangdong and Guangxi) of the famous "Tiejun" in history came from Huangzhang Town.
