Beihai and Zhongnanhai were detached palaces in the Jin Dynasty. The "Taiye Qiufeng" in the eight scenic spots in Yanjing, Jin Zhangzong refers to the Taiye Pool in the West Garden of Jinzhongdu, also known as Xihuatan. Xiyuan not only has Taiye Pool, but also has an island (now Xuanwu Gate Youth Lake). There are many buildings around Taiye Pool, which became a place for people to visit at that time.

Today, there is a water port (formerly known as Taiye Pool) next to Wanshanmen on the east coast of Zhongnanhai. There is a pavilion in the water called Yunshui Pavilion, which is famous for its neutral scenery. In Eight Scenes of Yanjing, the weather is unfathomable, the sun and the moon are swaying, and the ripples are beautiful and lovely, so it is too liquid and sunny. In Qianlong's poem, there is a sentence that autumn comes to Chen Ju, the jade lake is clear and the bridge is horizontal, so it is called grandfather autumn wind.

On the Shuiyun Pavilion in Zhonghai, there is an inscription by Emperor Qianlong: "Autumn Wind of Grandfather", which is one of the "Eight Scenes of Yanjing".

Standing on the Shuiyun Pavilion, you can see the North Sea Bridge in the north, backed by the White Pagoda of Qiongdao, and overlooking Yingtai across a wide water surface in the south. Wanshantang and Qianfo Temple on the east coast are close-ups; The majestic Ziguangge is hidden among the green trees in the west bank; Blue waves in the distance, lotus flowers reflecting the sun nearby, and the scenery is pleasant.

Shuiyunxie was built in the reign of Kangxi, and Kangxi wrote a poem entitled "Shuiyunxie Smells the Sanskrit Sound": "Shuiyunxie surrounds the Cuitai, and the smoke and wind help to open in the afternoon; Suddenly, I heard Brahma dreaming, and I suspected that Jin Shengjue was coming. " Later, Emperor Qianlong also attached a poem: "After that, there was no intention to go out of the hole, and the water did not flow for a long time; There are several seagulls at the intersection of backwater. After smoking at the table, the stone fence bends over the autumn water; My heart is empty, how can I be like a painter? " In autumn, it is a pleasure to watch the autumn wind on the Shuiyun Pavilion.
