How to draw in rainy days? Matters needing attention in rainy day painting

Pay attention to painting in rainy season.

As the weather gets hotter and hotter, many places have entered the rainy season again. So this book reminds everyone that you must be very careful when drawing in the rainy season.

Keep the room well ventilated.

When the air is humid in rainy days, all doors and windows should be opened during construction to maintain good indoor ventilation. This is not only beneficial to the health of construction workers, but also helpful to dry indoor walls, floors and wood as soon as possible.

Don't draw on rainy days.

When painting wood products with varnish or nitrolacquer, remember not to brush them in rainy days. Because the surface of wood products will condense a layer of water vapor in rainy days, if painted, water vapor will be wrapped in the paint film, making the surface of wood products turbid. For example, painting nitrocellulose paint in rainy days will lead to uneven color, and painting will lead to whitening.

If you must meet the deadline, you can add a certain amount of white powder to the paint. White powder can absorb the moisture in the air and accelerate the drying speed, but it will also bring some negative effects to the engineering quality. Therefore, under normal circumstances, even if the construction team is required to do some other work first or temporarily stop work for two days, try not to do painting work in rainy days.

Scrape putty to prolong drying time.

Scraping putty is the wall material we choose, which has the functions of waterproof, moisture-proof, anti-pulverization and anti-mildew. Before the wall is painted, it usually takes 1 to 3 times, during which the normal drying time is 1 to 2 days. However, when scraping putty in rainy days, you should first wipe off the moisture on the wall with a dry cloth and try to keep the wall dry. At the same time, according to the actual situation of the weather, it is advisable to extend the drying time of putty as much as possible, generally 2 to 3 days.

The most important thing in rainy season construction is to prevent the deformation of wood products made on site.

When the wooden doors and windows are formed but not painted (sprayed), they can be pressed for nearly a week with heavy objects to make the doors and windows structure basically stable, thus preventing the wood products from being deformed by moisture. After the decorative materials enter the site, firstly, the water absorption of the back sealing oil is controlled; When nailing, the shrinkage of the door cover and the closing line should be set aside, and then planed with an edge-closing machine one week later to avoid shrinkage and cracking.
