If the temperature is too low, the electrolyte inside the battery and the active components of the battery plate will decrease. Generally, the cruising range will be reduced by 1% for every degree of temperature drop. If the temperature drops by 25 degrees, you can run 30 kilometers, but you can only run 24 kilometers at 5 degrees.
