Wuyishan is in Nanping City, Fujian Province.

Wuyishan city is located in the northern part of Fujian province, at the junction of Fujian and Jiangxi provinces. The whole territory is 70 kilometers wide from east to west and 72.5 kilometers long from north to south. It is located at east longitude117 37' 22 ~1819' 44 and north latitude 27 27' 31~ 28 04' 49. Pucheng County in the east, Jianyang District in the south, Guangze County in the west and Yanshan County in Jiangxi Province in the north, with a total area of 28 13 square kilometers.

Wuyishan city is surrounded by mountains in the east, west and north, with overlapping peaks and hills, and the south-central part is relatively flat, which is a mountainous and hilly area. The urban area is 2 10/0m above sea level. The landform is well-defined and distributed in steps. The terrain inclines from northwest to southeast.
