The film "Blizzard. 18 14", which is based on the passenger train 1 4 buried by snow and ice, started shooting in boketu Town, Hulunbeier City, Inner Mongolia on March/0/4. This is the first film about the railway disaster in China. The film Blizzard 18 14 was planned by the Propaganda Department of the Political Department of the Ministry of Railways, directed by Sun Wenxue, a first-class actor of the Beijing Military Region Comrades Theatre, and played by Xin Li, a young actor, as the conductor of the 18 14 train.

The film is based on the true story of the 20 1014 train from Harbin to Baotou from October 3 to 5. 10/4 passenger train from Harbin to Baotou City was blocked at a low-lying place near Dadonggou Village, Shangdu County, Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia at about 6 pm on October 3. 15 carriages were mostly buried by blizzard, and 1400 passengers were trapped. Jitong Railway Company, Wulanchabu City, Shangdu County public security, fire protection, civil affairs, health and other departments quickly organized rescue teams to rush to the scene to carry out rescue. After 3 1 hour hard rescue by rescuers, all the 1400 passengers trapped on the train were rescued at noon on June 4. In the rescue army, 20 1 railway workers were frostbitten to varying degrees, and 22 workers were severely frostbitten, of which 1 railway workers almost had their limbs amputated.

The film will reproduce the experience of railway workers fighting side by side with the armed police, fire officers and soldiers and local farmers and herdsmen at that time. The story is amazing, the scene is thrilling, and the picture is beautiful and true.

In order to truly reproduce the snowstorm weather scene at that time, the film crew chose the shooting location on the railway line between boketu and Daxing 'anling. Hailaer Train Depot, Hulunbeier Fire Brigade and many other units provided strong support for location shooting. At the request of the film crew, Hulunbeier Fire Brigade sent five squadrons 10 officers and men to Bo Tu Tu Town to assist in filming. It took more than four hours to descend from a concrete bridge more than 20 meters away from the railway track in groups of three to complete the shooting task of saving people.

It is understood that in domestic movies, the railway theme movies are rare. The Ministry of Railways attached great importance to the filming of this film, and not only chose to cooperate with the powerful Bayi Film Studio, but also prepared to use it as an entry for the "Five One Project Award" in Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China.
