What provinces are there in northern China?
There are 12 provinces in the north, including Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Henan, Jiangsu, Shandong, Anhui, Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning.
The northern region is one of the four geographical divisions in China, which refers to the vast areas north of Qinling-Huaihe Line, south of Inner Mongolia Plateau, Daxing 'anling and east of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, mainly including Guanzhong, kanto region, North China and Northeast China.
The northern provinces do not include Shangluo, Ankang and Hanzhong in Shaanxi, Nanyang and Xinyang in Henan, Xuzhou, Lianyungang and Suqian in Jiangsu and southern Anhui.
