What is the function of data acquisition and monitoring station?

The data acquisition and control station is mainly composed of receiving, control and communication. Its main function is to receive information detected by meteorological satellite remote sensing instruments, data from data acquisition platform forwarded by satellites, information from space environment monitors and telemetry data of health itself, and send these information to data processing center through communication equipment. It also sends remote control instructions from the satellite control center to meteorological satellites. In addition, it also undertakes to forward the high and low resolution cloud images and meteorological fax images sent by the data processing center to meteorological satellites, track and measure the satellites according to the instructions of the satellite control center, and send the measured data to the data processing center.
