Walking in the community tonight, thinking of the homework assigned by the science teacher, I decided to observe all kinds of plants in the community from a scientific point of view. The plants in our community are typical varieties of Ningbo, mainly including trees, flowers, herbs and fungi. Qiao Muyou: camphor; Ginkgo biloba, known as the living fossil; A symbol of noble pine trees; A osmanthus tree whose flowers can make tea; There are also humble elms with crooked necks standing on both sides of the main road.

Flowers bloom all year round in the community. They are: azaleas and wisteria that bloom in spring; Gardenia and crape myrtle in summer; In autumn, the low osmanthus trees also come to join in the fun; There are two kinds of camellias: one is open in spring and grows taller; The other is in winter, and it is short, only more than a foot high; There are also Chinese rose flowers, which bloom every month.

Grassland is the least noticeable in the community: large lawns are planted artificially; The others are weeds. They are tenacious and happy. I know plantain and clover, but I don't know some. There is also a special plant in the community, the smallest mushroom in the world. Especially after a light rain, you will find many small mushrooms in the grass and under the big tree.

In the community, most plants are green. The leaves of these trees and flowers shine like a layer of wax. Only ginkgo trees are deciduous plants. In autumn, its leaves turn yellow and fall. Weeds are all millet, and they all die in autumn. I learned a lot through observation and combining with science books. How wonderful nature is!
