Generally speaking, different varieties of tea have different shelf life. For example, in the case of sealed preservation, the shelf life of green tea is generally about one year. Brick tea and fermented Chaze are very popular in southwest China and can be preserved for more than ten years.

Like Pu 'er and black tea, there is no specific shelf life. Because this kind of tea, the longer it is left, the more fragrant the tea soup is. Therefore, the shelf life of tea will not be the same, and it cannot be generalized.

Tea preservation method:

First, choose the right jar.

Usually, when raising tea at home, you must choose a suitable jar. It is best to use dark glass jars, or jars and purple clay jars, or bamboo boxes or wooden jars. It's best not to put tea in paper bags. Paper also absorbs moisture more easily, which will shorten the shelf life of tea.

Second, choose a container that can be sealed.

When choosing a good container to store tea leaves, you must choose a container that can be sealed, not an unsealed or open container. For example, an ordinary glass jar with a lid can seal the container, isolate air and water vapor, and prevent tea leaves from getting wet. If the container can't be closed, it will easily cause the tea leaves to get wet. After the tea leaves are damp, it is not only easy to get moldy, but also the nutrients in it will be reduced.

Third, bask in the sun.

If the tea leaves are already wet, we can find a sunny day to spread out the tea leaves and directly sun them. We only need to find a sunny noon to sun them for a while, because we still need to avoid light if we want to preserve the tea leaves.
