Impact of human activities on climate: greenhouse effect, aerosol effect, land use and land cover change effect.

1, greenhouse effect

The first and most important way that human activities affect the climate is to enhance the greenhouse effect of the atmosphere by increasing the concentration of greenhouse gases such as CO2, CH4 and N2O in the atmosphere.

2. Aerosol effect.

The second way that human activities affect the earth's climate by changing the atmospheric composition is the so-called "aerosol". It refers to the increase of atmospheric particles such as sulfate aerosol and atmospheric dust caused by human activities, which can block solar radiation and change the radiation budget of the earth-atmosphere system, thus affecting the earth's climate.

3. Impact of land use and land cover change.

The third way that human activities affect the earth's climate is the climate effect caused by land use/land cover change. Large-scale deforestation, grassland reclamation and farmland occupation have greatly changed the underlying surface characteristics of the earth's climate system.

Resulting in the change of surface albedo. In addition, the change of ground features will also change the material and energy exchange between land and air, and affect the climate in a more complicated way.

The probability of extreme weather time increases.

In addition to sea level rise, extreme weather has intensified in recent years, such as heavy rainfall in Henan, heavy snowfall in South Africa and high temperature of 70℃ in Kuwait.

In the view of climatologists, the frequent occurrence of extreme weather is bound to be related to the intensification of the greenhouse effect, which is a "chain" risk. If extreme weather always exists in people's lives, then the normal life of human beings will be disrupted and society will be chaotic.

With regard to global warming, the World Organization has jointly formulated relevant regulations to control the rising trend of temperature. But according to the current trend, it is really difficult to control the temperature rise of 1.5℃. However, the greenhouse effect is irreversible, and all we can do is to slow down the seriousness of the problem.

The development of human beings will continuously produce greenhouse gases, but the birth of advanced technology will definitely change the climate pattern. Besides, each of us should participate in and contribute our share.
