What is dry hot wind? How many types are there? How to defend?

Dry hot wind: In spring and summer, a dry hot wind is often blown, also known as? Fire wind? It is one of the main meteorological disasters in the northern wheat area.

Dry hot air is divided into three types:

(1) High-temperature and low-temperature type: characterized by high temperature and drought in the atmosphere, southerly or southwesterly winds blowing on the ground (easterly winds blowing in some places). This dry and hot weather process makes wheat germinate, mature and chafe. High temperature, low humidity, dry and hot wind mainly affects the wheat areas in northern China.

(2) Dry ripening type after rain: The main feature is that high temperature or strong sunshine after rain makes wheat wilt or dry ripening, which mostly occurs in North China and Ningxia.

(3) Dry wind type: it is characterized by low temperature and high wind speed, which accelerates plant transpiration, the water absorption capacity of roots can not meet transpiration water, plant cells lose water, and leaf pigments are destroyed. Most of them occur in northern Jiangsu and southern Anhui of Huanghuai Plain.

Defensive measures:

(1) Selection of dry-hot wind resistant varieties;

(2) Adopt early-maturing or middle-early-maturing varieties to avoid the harm of dry hot wind;

(3) According to the degree of drought and the length of wheat field, water wheat yellow water to cool down.

(4) Spraying chemical agents, such as spraying plant ash at jointing stage of wheat and spraying petroleum accelerant at flowering and filling stage.
