Route: National Highway 318 leaves Yajiang River and heads toward Tibet for 30 kilometers to reach the pass. Now that the tunnel has been repaired, the road at Lao Yakou is worse, and it is 8 kilometers longer than taking the tunnel.

Playing season: spring, summer and autumn. On snowy days in winter, it is unsafe to drive on icy roads. In addition, there are traffic control measures on the Sichuan-Tibet Line in winter. Not recommended for winter travel.

Jianziwan Mountain is named after the post road that curves along the mountain into a scissors shape. The hidden name is " Bolangong" means "the top of the mountain with fog all day long". It is the watershed between the Yalong River and Jizhugou. It is adjacent to Kazila Mountain on the left and Gaoersi Mountain on the right. It has a panoramic view of thousands of mountains and valleys. When you go here, you can enjoy the ancient charm of the Tea Horse Road.

Jianziwan Mountain, also called Jianziwanliangzi and Jianziwan Mountain, belongs to the Shaluli Mountains and runs northwest to southeast. The mountain pass is 4,659 meters above sea level. It is one of the highest passes of National Highway 318 passing through the Kangba area.

If the weather is good, you can see the winding mountain road coming up from the pass. The road is so rugged that everyone passing by will sigh: "The road to heaven has eighteen bends!". When we reached the top of the mountain, we felt like a "road to heaven" for the first time. The light was bright, the view was broad, and it was clean and transparent. Crossing the pass towards Litang, there are plateau grasslands above 4,000 meters all the way to Litang. You can gallop freely on the alpine grasslands and your sense of happiness will instantly increase.

Special reminder, even in the sunny summer here, the weather is always cloudy and sunny. When you are bathing in the sunshine, a dark cloud may suddenly float above your head, and then crackle down. If it rains, please bring rain gear.

Photography Tips

The vast sky and the rolling mountains, just press the shutter and you will see the beautiful scenery. However, these are the three most unmissable shooting terrains:

1. The road from Jianziwan Mountain Pass to Litang, with an altitude of more than 4,000 meters, the alpine grassland is a perfect match for photography when the weather is good!< /p>

2. Take a closer look and you will find a six-character mantra written on a certain mountainside. There is a scenic spot called "Eighteen Bends of the Sky Road" halfway up the mountain. There is a viewing platform where you can take photos and have a panoramic view of the gorgeous colors.

3. Close to the pass, you can take pictures of the "Eighteen Bends of the Sky Road" at the foot of the mountain.
