Xinxing rice noodle is produced in Xinxing County, Guangdong Province, and is a specialty of Xinxing County. Xinxing County is located in the west of central Guangdong Province, southeast of Yunfu City, adjacent to the Pearl River Delta. It is located at 1 1 1 57' 37 "to 1 12 3 1' 32" and 22 22' 46 "to 22 50' 36" north latitude. Xinxing County is located in the south of the Tropic of Cancer, the nearest point to the ocean100km. It belongs to subtropical monsoon climate and has the characteristics of mild climate, abundant heat, abundant sunshine, abundant rainfall and short frost period. The annual average temperature is 2 1.56℃, the annual average rainfall is1.663.7mm, and the annual average sunshine is 1.695.4. The temperature rises slowly in spring, and changes frequently in cold, warm, sunny and rainy days. Summer rainfall is concentrated, with high rainfall intensity, hot weather and abundant sunshine. In autumn, the temperature drops rapidly and the daily temperature difference is large. It is a suitable rice producing area. After the 1990s, Boyou, Qishan Zhan, Xinbaozhan, Fengaizhan, Peiza, Lvhuangzhan, Xuehuazhan, Xinmazhan, Fengbazhan, Hongnuo, Bainuo, Huangnuo and Heinuo were introduced into the county, and the quality of rice produced was excellent.

Xinxing county belongs to the new (Xing)-Gao (Ming)-He (Shan) hilly platform area. The groundwater reserves are 332 million cubic meters, which are stored in sand layers and rock fractures of alluvial and diluvial strata in China respectively, becoming springs or hot springs. Springs are mostly in mountainous areas, with good vegetation and good ecological environment. In Shui Yuan Mountain and Tianlu Mountain, there are abundant rock springs.
