What is the weather like in Wuhan?

Wuhan belongs to the northern subtropical monsoon climate, which is vulnerable to cold waves in winter, and the temperature drops sharply, often to below zero. Due to the confrontation between the south branch trough and cold air, low temperature rain and snow weather is produced. Summer is controlled by mid-latitude subtropical high, which is very hot and has summer drought weather.

Chengdu belongs to subtropical monsoon climate, with mild winter and little rain, and warm and rainy summer. Because the Daba Mountain and Qinling Mountains in the northern Sichuan Basin block the cold current from north to south, the warm current in the Indian Ocean can go deep, and the temperature in winter is much higher than that in Wuhan at the same latitude. In summer, Chengdu is close to the Bay of Bengal, and the continuous southwest monsoon brings wet and cold rainy season here. Sichuan is also a basin, which is conducive to the circulation and preservation of water.

Because of its topography, the most important thing is that the southwest monsoon is the most representative, influential and strongest monsoon in the world, and its nature is very warm and humid, far better than the southeast monsoon. Sichuan is just on the windward slope of the southwest monsoon.
