The historical origins of Mount Fanjing Cuifeng Tea
Yinjiang County has a long history of tea cultivation and has always been rich in famous tea. According to the Ming Dynasty's "Ming Dynasty Records": "Sizhou Fangwu tea is the best." In the Ming Dynasty, Tuanlong Village, Yongyi Township, Yinjiang County, was under the jurisdiction of Langxi Barbarian Chief, and was affiliated with Sizhou. The Tuanlong tea produced in Tuanlong Village, Yongyi Township, nestled deep in Fanjing Mountain, can be traced back to the 11th century. In 1411 (the ninth year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty), it was paid tribute to the royal family and was awarded the title of tribute tea. At the beginning of the 21st century, there are still more than 30 old tea trees planted in the 15th century in Tuanlong Village, Yongyi Township. The largest of them is the largest and best-growing tea tree in China according to expert research, and is known as the "King of Chinese Tea Trees."
