Which month is there a sandstorm in Xinjiang?

From March to May every year, sandstorms occur frequently in Xinjiang, especially in Keping County and Jinghe County of Minfeng County in southern Xinjiang. According to the data of meteorological department, from 197 1 to 2000, sandstorms occurred in March and May for many years, with an average of 33 days, 28 days and 5 days respectively.

Sandstorm refers to a disastrous weather phenomenon in which strong winds roll up a lot of dust from the ground, making the horizontal visibility less than 1 km, which is characterized by suddenness and short duration.
