What's interesting about Melbourne going to road trip?
A friend went to Dayang Road with the group. After returning home, he complained to me that he took a four-hour bus ride and only stayed with the twelve disciples for 50 minutes. There are only four words in my heart: "squandering things." As one of the most beautiful highways in the world, I have been to Dayang Road about six or seven times, and I enjoy it because I can meet different scenery every time.

About the circuit, other practical information is put at the end.
The route of Dayang Road can be a day dedicated to 12 disciples. If you want to travel deeply, it can be a month or even longer. You can stay in a bay for three or four days, and you can also drive from Melbourne to Adelaide in South Australia along the Ocean Road, so the itinerary is quite flexible. Of course, it is best to travel by car or chartered car. If you strongly recommend that you choose a 2-day tour, 1 day tour is really too fast. I plan a trip for you according to the schedule of 1-3 days.
One-day tour: You can leave Melbourne early in the morning, pass through Ji Lang, play along the coastline of Dayang Road to Disciple 12, and then return to Melbourne from A 1 Expressway.
Two-day tour: you can play Geelong first, then take A 1 and go directly to Campbell, live in Campbell, play around the twelve disciples and watch the sunset. The next day, I took Ocean Road from Campbell and returned to Melbourne.
Three-day tour: take a ferry from Mornington Peninsula to Dayang Road, spend a day and stay one night in Mornington Peninsula, then stay one night in Dayang Road, and twelve disciples stay one night in Campbell Port, and gradually feel the beauty of Dayang Road.
Three days to a few days: the itinerary can be arranged at will, and you can drive to Adelaide to start a trip to South Australia.
This article is my favorite tour route, which is rich in content and recommended to everyone. Depart from Melbourne (a) and cross the sea to C via Mornington Peninsula (b), complete the coastal tour of Dayang Road, then go to Geelong G from A 1 and return to Melbourne.
The famous Ocean Road is shown below from the port of Torquay-Loen-Apollo Bay-Campbell in Apollo Bay.
Campbell-Warnambul-Fairy Harbor, coastal highway.
DAY 1 Mornington Peninsula-Melbourne's back garden Mornington Peninsula
Mornington Peninsula (Mornington
It's about an hour's drive from downtown Melbourne, which is called Melbourne's back garden and surrounded by the sea on three sides. The famous scenic spots on the peninsula include IELTS Labyrinth Lavender Garden, Peninsula Hot Springs and Schenk Point Lighthouse. If you want to visit all the above scenic spots, it will take a day.
BrightonBeach
From Melbourne to Mornington Peninsula, along the coastal highway of St Kilda, Brighton Beach is more than ten minutes' drive. There are many colored cabins. These cabins are called bathing beaches.
Box is a private space for homeowners to spend their holidays at the seaside. Mainly used to put surfboards, fishing rods, canoes and other things to play with water, and of course, the function of changing swimsuit dressing rooms.
Mornington Peninsula National Park
Because I went the wrong way, I entered the Peninsula Park by mistake. There are several places in the park where I can have a panoramic view of Mornington Peninsula.
mornington peninsula
The Mornington Peninsula hot spring built on the mountain is completely original, and the top hot spring pool overlooks the whole Mornington Peninsula. If you come to Australia in spring, summer, autumn and winter, it will be very comfortable to soak in hot springs here. It is inconvenient to take a camera in the hot spring. I took two photos with my mobile phone, and I can see more pictures and specific information from official website. Official website address:/
At sunset, there are many people in the Tang Chi on the top floor.
Mobile phones shoot the pure sky.
Shenke Cape Lighthouse Reserve
The lighthouse is a known point in the darkness.
It's like traveling through a dreamy scene in a movie.
Swaying in the sun
This is a good place to shoot the starry sky, because this travel book is a collection of the last two ocean roads, so I wear it in winter and summer, so don't be surprised.
The next day Chicheng Dayang Road
Ferry trip
Arriving at sorrento Port in Mornington Peninsula in the morning, this is our ferry. Take a ferry from here to the opposite town of queencliff, and start our journey on the ocean road.
Tickets can be purchased in advance by checking the time and price on the website. au/
; Of course, it is not the peak season for Christmas and New Year's Eve. Just go to the window to buy tickets. When you arrive at the port, you can sit in the car and queue up to buy tickets and drive aboard, then park your car in the cabin and people can go.
It takes about 40 minutes to sail, and the wind is strong on the deck. Go back to the cabin for a cup of coffee and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Philip Bay.
Haiyang road
When you reach the Queen's Cliff, there is a huge ocean along the way.
Road signs. The scenery of Dayang Road is very different between sunny and cloudy days. It is recommended that you avoid driving along Dayang Road from June to September every year. This period is winter in Melbourne, with rainy days, and the scenery will be greatly reduced.
The Great Ocean Road is full of scenery. Don't rush to the Twelve Disciples and enjoy the feast along the way. This beach has not yet reached the beginning of Dayang Road. There is an intersection that turns about 100 meter, and you can't see it until the end of the whole beach. It is not recommended that you look for it specifically. Ocean Road is full of scenery, and you may encounter your own scenery inadvertently.
Toki
Torquay, the starting point of Dayang Road, is a famous surfing town. Although dark clouds are gathering at this time, the distance is still clear, and seeing the blue sky is hope.
Split point lighthouse
On the way from Torquay in Torquay to Loen in Loen, you will pass splitpointlighthouse. Little Red Riding Hood is very cute, and it is a must-see attraction on Dayang Road.
Agrarock
Viewing "Eagle Mouth Rock" from the Lighthouse
Panoramic view of Eagle Mouth Rock. Living here is really "facing the sea and blooming in spring"
Loen
Leave the lighthouse and go to Loen, a quiet town backed by mountains and the sea. Many Australians come here for their holidays and stay for a week.
I think there is someone in everyone's heart. I hope I can still hold hands and watch the sea quietly when I am old.
Lunch can be settled in Loen. No special recommendation. We just picked one at random. I really can't live without the internet anytime, anywhere. After eating a meal, I wandered Superman's mobile WIFI and accidentally got into the mirror. I have to eat it on my mobile phone to get it into my mouth.
What I want to recommend is a view not far from the town, a meadow on the roadside, and this open landscape can be seen at the end, which is quite shocking.
Capeton walked on. I remember this place is called Capeton. This is a scenic spot overlooking the endless coastline.
Cape Oatway Lighthouse
After Loen, it is Apollo Bay. I didn't stay here for long. I entered the national park.
Park. After driving out of Apollo Bay, I saw capeotway street sign turn into otwaylighthouseRD. You can find koalas on the road.
Go straight ahead and you'll find Cape Oatway.
Lighthouse, the oldest existing lighthouse in the Australian mainland, has been flashing from 1848 until now, which is the first light that countless immigrants from Europe saw after leaving Europe.
Next to it is a small tropical rain forest. Grandpa, who is intertwined with trees, seems to have entered the world of the Wizard of Oz.
Next is the virgin forest. The oil-like light and shadow attracted us to stop and take pictures.
Twelve disciples rock
I stayed in the harbor twice on Dayang Road.
Campbell, it's close to the twelve disciples. If you leave Melbourne in the morning and play all the way, it is usually three or four o'clock in the afternoon when you arrive in Campbell. Of course, everyone spends different time on the road. Sunset time is 5: 30 in winter and 8: 00 in summer. If you want to watch the sunset at 12, you should plan the time. Disciple 12 can take a helicopter to overlook Dayang Road here. There are two kinds of helicopters, the red one is for eight people and the yellow one is for four people. The price of four people is higher than that of eight people, and the person sitting in the middle of eight people will not have a good view. I was lucky to get a window seat.
It is shocking to see the wonders of nature from the perspective of God. For thousands of years, turbulent waves have been pounding and eroding the coastline.
The Twelve Disciples is a faded masterpiece. Over the years, the waves hit the limestone cliffs on the shore, forming caves and stone arches, and after collapse, they became these stone pillars with different shapes. They have been eroded, and every moment we see now is history.
The twelve disciples who took off their veils in the morning, the pile of rubble below is the collapsed rock.
Disciple 12, the signal here is not very good. The roaming superman overseas WIFI used this time has a power of 6000 mAh and can be used continuously 15 hours. Internet addiction girls like me are simply standard. It is so powerful that it also appears in the landmark scenic spots, which is a thank you for its companionship along the way.
The two survivors are called two survivors here to commemorate the two survivors in the shipwreck.
Gibson stone steps
GIBSONSTEP is next to the twelve disciples, and it takes about five minutes to drive to Melbourne. At sunset, it's really charming.
The third day misty rain princess harbor
Port Campbell
Today, I drove from Campbell Port to Princess Port to end my journey on Ocean Road, and then returned to Melbourne from A 1. The weather in Australia is like a baby with a cloudy face. It takes about five minutes from Port Campbell to London Bridge. London Bridge used to be connected, but it collapsed at 1990 due to the continuous erosion of sea erosion and wind erosion, and now it is a broken bridge.
London Bridge
Vanambur
Farewell to London Bridge and move on, because it rained heavily when we arrived in Vanambur, so we didn't stay long. I was going to go home, but it's not too far to think of Fairy Harbor, so I wanted to see it. After more than 20 minutes, the rain weakened, giving us a chance to enjoy this quiet town. This small town built in19th century, with its retro architecture, boundless deep sea and quiet harbor, surprised me. Even if it only shows one tenth of the beauty in rainy days, it makes people want to stay.
Much like the chapel in Miyazaki Hayao's cartoons, it's wonderful that the world suddenly became quiet from the surging noise yesterday.
Xiannvgang
The weather in Fairy Harbor is not very good this time. I hope it will be sunny next time.
Ji Lang
Leave Fairy Harbor and return to Melbourne along Highway A 1 to visit Geelong, the second largest city in Victoria.
Although Geelong is a city, it feels more like a small town. When we arrived here, it was already sunset. Take a walk by the sea and end the journey on Dayang Road with sunset.

Self-driving online car rental booking practical information:
After you have prepared your visa or bought a plane ticket, you can start renting a car online. Avis and Hertz, Australia's larger car rental agencies, Thrifty, Europcar, etc. Now I prefer to rent a car online, and the Chinese interface is very convenient.
About the choice of pick-up place:
Melbourne has two airports, one is TULLAMARINE and the other is AVALON Airport.
Airport), you must not make a mistake when choosing the place to pick up the car. Avalon Airport is mainly an Australian domestic flight. If you go to Melbourne from other cities, you can choose this airport, which is closer to Dayang Road. In addition, Dayang Road is completed by self-driving. If you want to visit downtown Melbourne, you'd better return the car in downtown Melbourne, because the parking lot in downtown Melbourne is very expensive and there are frequent traffic jams, which makes it inconvenient for tourists to drive.
Maps and navigation:
Now the mobile phone has its own map function, so navigation is very convenient, so don't worry. However, there is no signal in a section of Dayang Road, so it will be more convenient to download the map to your mobile phone in advance. The cell phone signal is not good in some places on Dayang Road. This time, we brought roaming Superman mobile phone WIFI and 4G network, which can meet the traffic demand of many mobile phones. I especially don't like to bring a charging treasure when I go out. It can also be used as a charging treasure. This configuration of 2IN 1 is really convenient. The cost is tens of dollars a day, and 500M 4G traffic is enough for the whole journey. I suggest you choose roaming Superman mobile phone wifi, which will be more convenient than changing calling cards.
Introduction to road conditions:
The rush hour in downtown Melbourne is still relatively blocked, and there will be no traffic jams when you leave the city. There are two roads out of the city, M 1 and A 1. Follow the GPS. B 100 is a coastal ocean road with a speed limit of 60-80. Although it is two lanes, the road conditions are still good. Some corners have speed limit signs, so you should pay attention to slow down. Some roads in Melbourne are free of charge, but they can be avoided by GPS. There is no need to take a toll road for the whole Ocean Road. Toll roads are not charged manually, but managed by electronic eyes. If the car rental company will deduct it from the credit card, it is generally 10 Australian dollars. Australia has a heavy fine for speeding, so everyone must pay attention to speed.
On traffic rules
1. When driving in two-way lanes in Australia, you need to drive on the left. When there are multiple lanes, the first lane on the right is the overtaking lane. At first it got better, but the light turned into a wiper.
2. When driving a vice car in Australia, you must let the main car. If you want to turn out of the alley, you have to wait until the straight car has finished. When you meet around the island, your right hand is also preferred. Let all vehicles entering the roundabout on your right pass first, and then you go.
Australians generally don't honk when driving. If honking the horn is not swearing, it will remind you that there may be an accident ahead and the traffic police will speed up.
Oil; Fuel filling; Make greater efforts
There is no manual service at gas stations in Australia. You can grab your own gas, put it away and click Add directly. After adding the optimistic parking space number, you can pay in the supermarket at the gas station yourself.
