What's the difference between Fujian and Jiangxi?

They are located in the south of the Yangtze River and the north of Nanling, respectively, with roughly the same latitude. The two provinces are adjacent, only separated by Wuyi Mountain. There won't be much difference in the climate of such a small area, which belongs to subtropical monsoon climate.

Topographically, the degree of cold in winter is different between the two places. Panyang Lake Plain is located in the north of Jiangxi, with high terrain in the south and low terrain in the north, which is open to the north, especially conducive to the invasion of Siberian cold current and the rainy and snowy weather in winter.

But there are many mountains in Fujian province, and Wuyi Mountain runs through the north and south. The cold air in Jiangxi on the Shanxi side is easy to accumulate, and the Shandong side is just in the leeward area, and it is much warmer in winter than in Jiangxi. Actually, it's the same. In the weather forecast, it is rarely heard that there are snow and ice disasters in Fujian, but there are many in Jiangxi, Hunan and Zhejiang.
