The origin of Jinshi Guzheng

The Jinshi Guzheng of Liaocheng School originated from Jinhaozhuang in Linqing. According to historical records, it has been played for at least 200 years. The folk handwritten zither score "The Integration of the zither score in the retreat hall" reads "Tongzhi December 16th", which shows that these zither songs were widely circulated in the local area at least in 1873.

It is said that Jin's guzheng performance has been spread from the Tang Dynasty to the present, and one of the most famous songs is "Fishing Boat Singing Late", which originated in Linqing District, Liaocheng City, Shandong Province. 19 12, Jin Zhuonan rewrote three songs, still named "Fishing Boat Singing Late", which was later adapted by more than a dozen people and appeared as background music in the CCTV weather forecast column.

Jinshi Guzheng is unique and "vertical" all over the world.

Jin Guzheng's playing style is simple and elegant, with pure pronunciation and rhyme and a combination of meat and armor. It highly praises China's traditional music, and its style embodies the characteristics of the "ancient seven-tone school", such as lofty and ancient indifference, grandeur, strength, fluency, strangeness, lightness and antiquity. Its performance is steady and emotional, and the effect is "heavy but not dry, light but not floating, urgent but not urgent." It is unique in clicking, pressing, reciting and wiping, and is favored by peers.

In terms of playing methods, Jin's guzheng inherited the Shandong guzheng school and played with his thumb and knuckles. Pay attention to the "vertical" playing method, which is the unique feature of Jin Guzheng. Specifically, it is left rhyme and right rhyme. The left hand grabs the strings and presses them down, and the right hand moves to the right, producing a downward piano sound.
