Why is the sales of electric vehicles worse the farther north?

In recent years, the sales volume of new energy vehicles in China automobile market has been on the rise. But overall, the sales distribution of new energy vehicles is very regional, so what factors will affect the sales of new energy vehicles in Northeast China? Today, we will take Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang in the three northeastern provinces as examples to see how the sales of new energy vehicles are in the Northeast.

The cumulative sales volume of new energy vehicles in the three northeastern provinces is12,964 vehicles, accounting for about 1.4% of the national sales volume. It can be seen that the lack of supporting facilities for new energy vehicles in Northeast China is one of the reasons why people are unwilling to buy new energy vehicles, in addition to the climate in East China. Compared with other provinces, the population density in Northeast China is relatively low, so the distribution of new energy infrastructure such as charging piles is also very limited. Even if you buy a new energy vehicle, you can't guarantee that you can charge it at any time, and under the influence of bad weather, the use of charging piles will be affected to some extent.

First, the temperature in Northeast China is low, and the requirements for batteries and storage batteries of new energy vehicles are high.

The same battery and storage battery may be completely applicable in the south, no problem, but in the northeast, especially in winter, the temperature in the northeast is extremely low. In Heilongjiang province, the temperature is often MINUS 30 degrees, which is a great test for fuel vehicles, not to mention new energy vehicles. Now, although some manufacturers guarantee the quality of batteries and storage batteries, we are deeply worried about the routine of 4S stores and the reputation of manufacturers. When buying a car, all kinds of promises are not fulfilled.

Unfortunately, a few years before the promotion of new energy, it was also the time to explore new energy vehicles. In winter in Northeast China, new energy vehicles are really unreliable, with frequent failures and complete maintenance, which makes these users feel chilling. Moreover, manufacturers will not exclusively manufacture batteries and storage batteries suitable for the temperature in Northeast China. It is better to maintain a developed market than to increase costs.

Second, charging piles are not popular, and some cities do not even have charging piles.

Gas stations for fuel vehicles can be seen everywhere, while charging piles for new energy vehicles are "sparsely populated" in the northeast, and charging piles can hardly be found in the whole city. Even if it is found, some of it cannot be used. When buying a car, you will be recommended to install charging piles in the garage, which limits many people. The average salary in Northeast China is 3000-4000, while the average price of underground garage is around 7000-8000. In some cities, there are no charging piles in the whole city. This "vicious circle" makes people excited about new energy stop.

Third, new energy vehicles don't save money.

Do new energy vehicles save money? People buy private cars, and new energy sources can be roughly divided into pure electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid. For the same model, new energy vehicles are much more expensive than fuel vehicles, and some even differ by more than 50,000. Whether the so-called high-tech technology is worth so much money, whether market makers don't want to cut prices to make money, whether they want to protect the market of fuel vehicles, or whether they simply use state subsidies to make money, these are all questions worth discussing. Looking at the fuel consumption alone, these tens of thousands of dollars are enough for the fuel cost of fuel vehicles for several years. Coupled with various losses, new energy vehicles really don't save money than fuel vehicles in cities. For example, hybrid cars are really fuel efficient. One tank of oil can drive two tanks of oil, but it is much more expensive than the fuel version of the same model. The car seller will also advise you that when the fuel cost is spent in advance, the plug-in hybrid car will switch to the fuel mode, almost like the fuel car, and it will save fuel only when there is electricity. If someone works across the city, it does have some advantages over previous fuel vehicles under the condition of ensuring sufficient electricity and not causing car failure due to battery problems at high speed.
