Arrangement of Zhan genealogy
Jane has five sources:
1, from Ji's surname, after. According to "The Famous Garden of the Family", the illegitimate child in Zhan was named Zhan Hou and Li, and his son and grandson took the country as their surname.
2. According to "History of Taoism", it is said that the ancient emperor Yu Shun, after sealing the Yellow Emperor, got the descendants of Zhan (Tong Shi Zun) and thought it was his surname.
3. From the official name to the surname. According to the origin of hundreds of surnames, the official position in charge of Zhan (Zhan Bu) in ancient times was called Zhan Yin Guan, and the person named after the official position was called Zhan Shi.
4. According to the research on surnames, in the Spring and Autumn Period, Jin You and Zheng You all took Yi as their surnames.
5. People from ethnic minorities have Zhan's surname. Today, Mongolian, Tujia, Taiwan Province aborigines, Shui and other ethnic groups all have this surname.
Ancestor: Zhan. Zhan's surname comes from Ji's later surname. When he was in Zhan (unknown today), he was sealed and made Hou, known as Zhan in history, and later inherited as Chow Tai Fook. When Hou Wen was the king of seclusion, he was Shao Shi. Seeing that the reclusive king loved and praised him, he was tired of playing with things, so he resigned and returned to his fief. Later, King Youhuo became a vassal, which led to the disaster of national subjugation and his own death. Although Zhan was the king's brother, he remained awake and unscathed, and his descendants managed to escape. Because Zhan's first letter was written in Zhan, later generations respected him as the ancestor of Zhan's surname.
Second, migration distribution.
Jane has a long history and complicated clues. According to Ci Yuan, "Zhou has Zhan's father and Zhan Hengbo, and they are said to be human beings." He said, "Jin has it, Guo has it, and Zheng has it." However, Zhan Zheng in Jin Dynasty was different from Wang Xuan's son. It can be seen that during the Spring and Autumn Period, Zhan was distributed in Jin (now Shanxi), Guo (now northwest of Zhengzhou, Henan), Zheng (now Xinzheng, Henan) and other places. During the Warring States period, there were warlocks in the State of Chu (now Hubei Province), Xiongnu Khan in the History of War (for reference) in the Western Han Dynasty, and Manzhan Mountain in Wuling (now Xupunan, Hubei Province) in the Eastern Han Dynasty. It can be seen that before and after the Han Dynasty, people named Zhan settled in Hubei and Hunan. Of course, there are also historical data showing that most of Zhan's surnames in Han Dynasty were born in ancient Bohai County and Hejian County. The Yongjia Rebellion in the Jin Dynasty led to an unprecedented catastrophe. Since then, the five Hu and sixteen countries have begun, and the descendants of the Han nationality in the Central Plains have also begun to move south. This is the famous first national migration in the history of our country. At that time, with the expansion of unrest, the surnames of the Central Plains gradually appeared in today's East China, South China and Central South China. At that time, there was Zhan among the eight surnames in Fujian, which laid a foundation in the south very early and naturally developed into one of the famous surnames in the south of China. During the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties, the Central Plains was in a state of deep sorrow. At that time, in order to avoid fire, help the old and bring the young, the people in the north fled everywhere and went south to seek pure land. The descendants of the Zhan family were no exception, and later moved south, making the already numerous Zhan family team in the south even bigger. For example, Zhan Dunren fled from Gwangju, Henan Province, lived in seclusion in Fujian, and then settled in the local area. There are many people with Zhan's name in the history books of Song Dynasty, and most of them are southerners. In the early Ming Dynasty, Shanxi Zhan was moved to Shandong, Hebei, Shaanxi, Jiangsu, Hubei and other places. After the middle of Ming Dynasty, with the improvement of China's navigation technology, some people named Zhan from Fujian, Guangdong and other coastal areas crossed the sea to make a living in Taiwan Province. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, Zhang slaughtered Sichuan, resulting in a sharp drop in the population of Sichuan. Later, Zhan from Hunan and Hubei moved to Sichuan and Chongqing with the tide of filling Sichuan with Huguang. After the mid-Qing Dynasty, Zhan's surname was more widely distributed, and some Zhan's surname people set sail in Nanyang and migrated to Southeast Asia. Today, Zhan's surname is widely distributed in China, mostly in Hunan, Taiwan Province and Sichuan provinces. The Zhan surname in these three provinces accounts for about 50% of the total population of Han nationality in China. Zhan is the152nd surname in China, with a large population, accounting for about 0.05% of the Han population in China.
