Where is Shenshuping in Dujiangyan?

The area is located in Gengda Town, Wolong Nature Reserve.

Shenshuping Base of China Giant Panda Garden in Wolong, Sichuan Province is a giant panda base rebuilt by China Giant Panda Research and Protection Center after the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008. The base is located in Huangcaoping District, Shenshuping, Gengda Township, Wolong National Nature Reserve Administration, Sichuan Province, covering an area of about 150 hectares.

There are more than 50 giant pandas in Shenshuping base, including 9 pandas born in the base in 20 17.

A pair of twin brothers Dongcha and Baiji, born on July 9, 200212002 in the Shenshuping Base of the Panda Center, became giant pandas endorsed by Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture on June 22, 2022.
