The attachment of the Cai Yun brothers is drifting.

Yuan grew up in Xihu Farm, Changde City, Dongting Lake District, and began to swim at the age of 6. At that time, there was a big still river in front of his house, called Yougang River. Every summer, he plays in the river all day. At the age of 7, his swimming skills and speed can basically catch up with adults, and he began to learn backstroke at the age of 8. The swimming postures learned at that time were all popular folk swimming postures in the local area, which were not standardized. But this experience as a child laid a good foundation for his future swimming hobby.

After taking part in the work, He was arranged from his hometown Youshui to Zijiang, a major town in central Hunan. The wider water surface aroused people's strong interest in hitting water. Every summer, when he is happiest,

I have to swim in Zijiang for more than two hours almost every day. 1After August, 993, he began to practice swimming with heavy weights every day. At first, it was less than a catty of stones, and then gradually increased the loading. Finally, I swam easily, weighing about five kilograms.

After the successful heavy-load swimming, Yuan began to drift in the running water with stones on his back to practice swimming. Since August 2000, Yuan has had another breakthrough training in swimming skills-lying on the water and practicing drifting. A few years ago, his hands and feet were only out of the water for a few seconds at a time. At this time, I feel so light that I can float on the water without touching. Later, he continued to grope and held the stone for intensive training of static drift. By last summer, he was free to drift for a long time, and his drifting performance was reported by local newspapers and TV stations.

In April this year, many media in Hunan reported that Tang, a retired worker of Changsha Heavy Machinery Factory, was preparing to challenge the Guinness World Record for drifting. In July, 2000, Yuan was moved by the story that the old man drifted from the first Xiangjiang Bridge in Changsha to the second Xiangjiang Bridge, and attracted media attention. He went to the door to find Aunt Tang and expressed his willingness to accompany her to drift and support her feat with practical actions. The two originally planned to complete this challenge in Xiangjiang in mid-August this year, but at that time, the flood in Xiangjiang surged. On September 5th, when the water receded, he and Aunt Tang went to Xiangjiang River to test the water. Later, he made a decision to challenge the Guinness World Record for 5000-meter deadweight drifting (Tang Challenge 10000-meter deadweight drifting record).

Yuan told reporters that during this period, he has been conducting warm-up training for the challenge of September 16, and all preparations are in full swing. At that time, Yuan will carry something weighing 1 to 2 kilograms and float on the water. They will also hold umbrellas on the water, read books, read newspapers, sing songs, play the flute and be interviewed by reporters. Some members of Changsha Winter Swimming Association will also perform swimming at the drifting site to enhance the atmosphere. If the water flow, water speed, water temperature, weather and other factors can reach the ideal state, these two records may be born.

After getting in touch with the Guinness Headquarters in Shanghai, so far, only the Guinness record calculated by time in still water (8 hours) has been recorded, and there is no record calculated by distance and no record of static drift under load. After learning about this incident, Shanghai Guinness Headquarters attached great importance to this drift, and recently accepted Yuan's request to declare the Guinness World Record for Load Drift.
