Biogeographic Study on Rainstorm Dampness Syndrome

In this paper, the relationship between heavy rain and damp evil is studied from the perspective of bio-meteorology, and it is considered that heavy rain always belongs to damp evil and exists with wind, cold and heat. Heavy rain attacks the human body in two ways: chemical dampness and turbid dampness. Dehumidification often leads to poor airflow. Turbidity and dampness are not smooth. The prevention and treatment methods of wet syndrome caused by rainstorm are also discussed.

Abstract: From the perspective of bio-meteorology, the wet syndrome of rainstorm was summarized. The results show that the diseases caused by rainstorm are mostly caused by dampness, often accompanied by wind, cold and heat. Heavy rain causes disease by clearing away dampness and turbid dampness. Clearing dampness leads to qi stagnation. Blood is blocked by phlegm and turbidity. The prevention and treatment measures of dampness syndrome are also discussed.

Rainstorm is a disastrous weather, which seriously affects people's production, work and life. Rainstorm is also a pathogenic factor, but there are few reports about its relationship with human diseases, especially with the bio-meteorology of dampness syndrome. The author discusses the bionic research of rainstorm dampness syndrome as follows:

1 biomimetics and meteorological diseases

Since ancient times, people have noticed that weather and climate will affect people's health. However, it was not until recent decades that it was systematically and deeply studied, and gradually formed a new comprehensive discipline-biometeorology [1]. According to the definition of the International Biometeorology Association, biometeorology is a science that studies the regular or irregular, direct or indirect effects of the atmosphere and the micro-environment and macro-environment outside the earth on the general physical and chemical factors of plants, animals, humans and organisms. Even healthy people are directly or indirectly affected by weather, climate and seasonal changes. When the climate changes greatly, it will cause diseases, even aggravate the original condition, and even die. Therefore, the syndromes closely related to meteorology are called meteorological diseases. In recent years, with urbanization and industrialization, air pollution has caused some diseases, which can be called generalized meteorological disease [2].

2 the impact of heavy rain on human health

Before and after the rainstorm, the wind direction, wind force, temperature, air humidity and air pressure generally change, which affects human health and even induces or causes some diseases. Most viruses and gram-negative bacteria increase with the increase of humidity, while gram-positive bacteria and influenza viruses increase with the decrease of humidity and wind speed [1] [3]. In tropical areas where mosquitoes can reproduce and move all year round, rainfall is closely related to the increase or decrease of their individual numbers. A survey on the relationship between the monthly incidence of encephalitis patients and the average temperature and rainfall in Qinma, northern Thailand shows that about half of encephalitis patients are Japanese encephalitis, but the peak is not in April with the highest temperature, but in July and August with the highest rainfall (note: Japanese encephalitis virus is spread by virus-preserved mosquitoes). However, in temperate regions such as Japan, the number of individuals of vector mosquitoes increased sharply in summer, and the incidence of Japanese encephalitis reached its peak [4].

In China, some scholars have confirmed that meteorological factors are closely related to the incidence of pneumonia in children, while air temperature and relative humidity are negatively related to the incidence of pneumonia, and air pressure is positively related to the incidence of pneumonia. In hot and rainy summer and autumn, children's physical resistance drops and they can be infected with pneumonia [5].

Medication under different meteorological conditions will also have different effects. For example, the toxicity of foxglove increased when it was used in a storm with a sudden drop in air pressure, and decreased when it was used in a calm high air pressure condition [1].

3 Study on Dampness Syndrome

Damp pathogen is very common in clinic, and it is also difficult to treat. There is a saying that "among the six qi, damp-heat is a disease, and ten of them live in eight or nine times". Damp evil "one of the cold evils will be relieved by sweating, and one of the warm evils will retreat when it is cold, so it is difficult to overcome it quickly." [6]

3. 1 etiology

Wet is a kind of disease, and it feels different. Some people get it from outside, such as living in wet, wading in the rain, sweating clothes and so on. Some people get it from the inside, such as drinking milk and cheese and eating too much fruit to catch cold, which leads to spleen damage and stomach failure [6]. Internal dampness and external dampness are interrelated, and those with internal dampness are easily attacked by external dampness. Feel the external dampness, if you don't go for a long time, it is easy to lose harmony between the spleen and stomach, resulting in internal dampness. The connotation of external humidity, Jiang Chunhua once said: "Humidity is the increase of water content in the air." [7] Humidity itself is a component of normal climate change. Only when excessive moisture invades the human body and causes diseases can it become damp evil. Different from wind, cold, summer heat, dryness and fire, dampness exists between heaven and earth in various forms, such as fog, dew, rain, snow, frost, water, ice and humid air transpiration [8].

3.2 Pathogenesis

Dampness is divided into heaven and earth, and the dampness falling from heaven is clear, including fog, dew, frost, snow, rain and transpiration of damp and hot air between heaven and earth, which is light in nature, and it is easy for middle diseases to enter the air, burn up, defend the defense in the middle, or dirty air (trapped spleen); The dampness in the ground, that is, turbid dampness, including water, spring, ice and mud, is serious in nature, and it is easy to enter the blood when it is moderately ill, and it stays in the skin, bones and muscles and blood vessels when it is burnt down [8].

Pathogenic dampness is complex and changeable. Humidity is diffuse water vapor, which has no fixed body and is everywhere at home and abroad. If you commit a crime, you will be strong; If you stop, you will be full of nausea; When it flowed down, the feet and tibia were swollen; The vein is impassable, qi stagnation and blood stasis; Intra-articular aggregation is not good for epiphysis; When the guest is on the skin, it is cold, hot and painful; Scattered in the hole, turbid; If it is attached to the viscera, the qi will be blocked. Therefore, many diseases are caused by dampness, such as diarrhea, joint pain, jaundice, malaria, stranguria, blood stasis, etc., which are all related to dampness. Besides, dampness can hurt the spleen, spleen soil is insufficient, and all diseases are numerous [6].

3.3 Diagnosis and treatment

The pathogenic range of damp pathogen is wide, and its clinical manifestations are complicated. Common symptoms are: drowsiness, fatigue, mental fatigue, listlessness, greasy fur and thready pulse. Many diseases in modern medicine are related to dampness, such as: the clinical manifestations of viral diseases are similar to dampness syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine [9]; Primary glomerulonephritis is related to dampness, which is both a pathological product and a pathogenic factor, and its connotation is the basic pathological change of nephritis [10]. The basic pathology of chronic nephritis is "stagnation of damp-heat for a long time, blocking triple energizer", and [1 1] is closely related to damp evil. The method of eliminating dampness varies according to the disease position. Those who burn the coke should be fragrant and transparent, while the fragrance is turbid. Therefore, in the treatment of dampness syndrome, besides the method of eliminating dampness, it is also necessary to cooperate with the method of promoting qi circulation, such as qi circulation, to promote the opening of dampness and the resolution of dampness stagnation with the help of qi circulation activities of viscera, and to give evil dampness a chance to vent. This can drive away evil spirits as soon as possible, improve the curative effect and shorten the course of disease [13].

3.4 nursing care

It is difficult to get rid of dryness and dampness, and when it gets out of hand, it will gradually fade away and slow down. It is difficult to get rid of dampness quickly, and it is expected to slow down [6], so the nursing of dampness syndrome is very important. Its nursing should avoid being seriously affected by wet injury, the living environment should not be wet, and it is necessary to prevent getting wet and sweating. Wear soft clothes with strong hygroscopicity, and wash and dry them in time after they are wet. Avoid drinking milk and cheese in your diet, and don't overeat cold fruits. If properly cared, you can effectively cooperate with the treatment.

4. The relationship between rainstorm and dampness.

Before the Tang Dynasty, "rain" was considered as a pathogenic factor. For example, in 5 14 BC, Dr. Qin proposed that "yin, yang, wind, rain, yin and light" were six evils; Su Wen's Theory of Regulating Classics puts forward that wind, rain, cold and summer heat are the pathogenic factors. 5 Research on Artificial Meteorological Room

In order to facilitate the research, Hollander of the United States made a precise artificial meteorological room for experiments, that is, made five meteorological conditions that can be changed at will, called Climatron Room. We created meteorological conditions unknown to rheumatism patients, who were manipulated outside but lived inside, and observed the influence of such conditions on rheumatism symptoms. Results When the air pressure drops and the humidity rises, the patient's symptoms get worse immediately, such as simple air pressure drop or humidity rise, and the symptoms hardly change. Although the change of meteorological conditions will lead to the deterioration of the disease, even if the disease worsens within a certain period of time, the symptoms will not be affected. This result is based on the fact that rheumatism patients often complain that the symptoms of meteorological front are aggravated, especially the pain is aggravated before rain, and the pain is relieved after rain. To sum up, climate change will affect people's health, and rainstorm, as a disastrous weather, will have a great impact on people. Different people will have different reactions to the same meteorological stimulus under different conditions and produce different results. As a common and refractory syndrome, dampness syndrome is closely related to rainstorm, and can be treated by various means, such as diet therapy, exercise therapy, psychotherapy, and rehabilitation with the change of weather and season [16]. Sick people can play a therapeutic role and prevent the disease from progressing in various ways. Non-sick people can also play a preventive and health care role.
