What season does the south enter in the canopy season?

In the awning season, the south enters the rainy season.

Meiyu is a rainy season that usually lasts nearly a month from Jiangnan to Jianghuai, and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River enter one after another. Plums begin to blossom after the summer heat, so there is a poem "Huang Meiyu has broken at three o'clock" ("three o'clock" refers to the summer to the future 15 days, which happens to be the summer heat season).

Wheat ripens in the wind and plums turn yellow in the rain. "The weather is getting hotter and hotter, the days are getting longer and longer, the wheat is ripe, and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River are beginning to rain. The title of Meiyu borrowed from the phenology of plum blossom yellow ripening, which is the most familiar meteorological concept borrowed from phenology and has a very long history.

Emperor Taizong said in his poem: "The breeze blows the green fields, and the plum rains sprinkle the fields." Back in the Eastern Han Dynasty, there was a saying of "Huang Meiyu" in the ballad "Four Moon Orders". The word "Meiyu" has a history of 2,000 years, and it has transcended national boundaries and become a common word for similar weather in related areas.
