Anshan Jade Buddha Temple is located in Jade Buddha Mountain Scenic Area. Founded in 1993, 1996, it was renamed Jade Buddha Garden and opened to the public as a sightseeing park. It is the first batch of 4A tourist attractions in China. Jade Buddha Temple covers an area of 52,000 square meters with a building area of 8,800 square meters. There are Mahayana Hall, Tianwang Hall, Relic Hall and Lohan Holy Land. The layout of the whole temple is reasonable, simple and elegant, resplendent. Daxiong Hall enshrines the world's first jade Buddha, weighing 260.76 tons, and is carved by Xiuyu as a whole. On August 7 and August 23 this year, the State Bureau of Religious Affairs and the Liaoning Provincial Bureau of Religious Affairs approved the renaming of the Jade Buddha Garden in Anshan as the Jade Buddha Temple and set it up as a venue for Buddhist activities.
