Shijiazhuang, referred to as "Stone" for short, formerly known as Shimen, is a prefecture-level city, provincial capital and I-type big city under the jurisdiction of Hebei Province, and is one of the important central cities of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei in China identified by the State Council. As of 202 1, the city has 8 districts, 1 1 county and 3 county-level cities, with a total area of 14530 square kilometers.

Shijiazhuang is located in the south-central part of Hebei Province, in the Bohai Economic Zone, southwest of Beijing, with the latitude of 37 27' ~ 38 47' north and the longitude of113 30' ~115 20' east. It is an important commodity distribution center in China, an important commercial port in the north, one of the national commercial exhibition center cities, the permanent meeting place of China International Digital Economy Expo, and a part of China (Hebei) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
