Organization of Anhui Meteorological Bureau

The provincial bureau consists of seven functional departments (rooms): office (foreign affairs office), monitoring network department, science and technology disaster reduction department, planning and finance department, personnel and education department, policies and regulations department, supervision and audit department (co-located with the party discipline inspection team), party committee office (spiritual civilization construction office) and retired cadres office. There are 9 institutions directly under the Ministry of Fertilizer, namely: Anhui Meteorological Observatory, Anhui Climate Center (Anhui Meteorological Archives), Anhui Institute of Meteorological Science (Anhui Agricultural Meteorological Center, Anhui Meteorological Satellite Remote Sensing Center), Anhui Atmospheric Detection Technology Support Center, Anhui Lightning Protection Center, Anhui Meteorological Science and Technology Service Center (Anhui Professional Meteorological Observatory), Anhui Meteorological Training Center (Anhui Information Engineering School) and logistics service center of Anhui Meteorological Bureau.

With the approval of China Meteorological Bureau, Anhui Meteorological Bureau set up meteorological management offices in Huangshan Mountain and Jiuhuashan Mountain as meteorological agencies stationed in other places directly under the provincial bureau. With the approval of local authorities, Anhui Provincial Weather Modification Office and Anhui Rural Comprehensive Economic Information Center were established. Anhui Meteorological Bureau performs the duties entrusted to provincial meteorological authorities by Meteorological Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), Regulations on Meteorological Management of Anhui Province and Institutional Reform Plan of Local National Meteorological System issued by the Central Organization Establishment Committee, and the institutional specifications are at the main hall level.
