March 23rd every year is World Meteorological Day.

World Meteorological Day, also known as International Meteorological Day, is the anniversary of the establishment of the World Meteorological Organization. The main purpose of World Meteorological Day is to let people of all countries understand and support the activities of the World Meteorological Organization, arouse people's attention and love for meteorological work, and promote the application of meteorology in human activities such as aviation, navigation, water conservancy and agriculture.

World Meteorological Organization (WMO):WMO was established on March 23, 1950 in 195 1 and became a specialized agency of the United Nations. It is the highest authoritative mouthpiece of the United Nations on the conditions and characteristics of the earth's atmosphere, the interaction with the ocean and the climate that produces and leads to the distribution of water resources. Its headquarters is located in Geneva, Switzerland.

The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) was established in 2000, and it has been 50 years since then. WMO has grown from 30 members in the early days to 185 today, including countries in Africa, Central and Eastern Europe and the Southwest Pacific, including 179 members in the country and 6 members in the region (including China, Hongkong, China and Macau, China), making it the most representative and cooperative international organization.
