Yanshan County is connected to Fujian in the south and Anhui and Zhejiang in the north, with flat terrain and convenient water transportation. Since ancient times, it has been the transportation hub of Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangxi provinces, and is known as the "thoroughfare of eight provinces". Yanshan county is named after the production of lead in history. Jianxian County began in the 11th year of Baota University in Nantang (AD 953). Read Yanshan as the place name of Lead Mountain. As early as the middle of the Ming Dynasty, Lead Mountain had developed into one of the five handicraft industries in the south of the Yangtze River. Handmade paper industry was as famous as cotton textile industry in Songjiang, silk weaving industry in Suzhou and Hangzhou, pulp dyeing industry in Wuhu and porcelain making industry in Jingdezhen. With the mass distribution of paper tea, Hekou has brought prosperity to all walks of life, and has become one of the four famous towns in Jiangxi, which are equally famous with Jingdezhen, Zhangshu Town and wucheng town. Businessmen from all walks of life, from Shanxi merchants in southern Shaanxi to Huizhou merchants in southern Anhui, flocked here to start businesses and compete for business. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, the headquarters of the Third Theater was stationed in Lead Mountain, and a large number of schools, banks, factories and other shops moved in one after another. Lead mountain became an important town in the south during the war, and industry and commerce once again showed prosperity.
