The optimum temperature of laser printer should be lower indoor temperature, such as 17℃~23℃ and relative humidity 40%~50%.

In order to prolong the service life of the printer, the correct placement of the printer becomes a key factor. The printer should be placed in a well-ventilated place. Because there will be a small amount of gas harmful to health when using, the position of laser printer should consider the exhaust problem of its exhaust port, and it should be ventilated stably, at least not directly to the user. It is best to place a pot of green plants near the laser printer, and its photosynthesis will effectively absorb harmful substances.

2. Impact on toner cartridge:

1. The selenium drum of the laser printer is a silicone photoconductor, which has the problem of "working fatigue". Therefore, when the weather is hot, don't work continuously for too long. If the output is large, you can stop to have a rest after working for a while, and then continue to output.

2. For the selenium drum with chip, if the powder bin is exposed to high temperature (or under direct sunlight), the floatability of the toner in the powder bin becomes worse, resulting in the small window not being blocked, which leads to the failure of LED emission and reception. This situation will also be written into Toner Low, so that the chip will be scrapped in advance.

Therefore, when the weather is hot, the printer should be placed in a place with appropriate temperature and humidity, less dust, good ventilation and no direct sunlight.
