Why does Baimaoling belong to Shanghai?

Baimaoling belongs to Shanghai, which is largely caused by historical reasons. Since the staff of Baimaoling Farm are all sent from Shanghai, farm children with Shanghai hukou can take the senior high school entrance examination and college entrance examination in Shanghai and enjoy the policy of independent enrollment in Shanghai. In other words, the administration is entirely under the jurisdiction of Shanghai.

Baimaoling, southeast of Chengguan Town, Langxi County 16 km, borders Guangde City, and runs north and south, with a length of 14 km and a width of 2~6 km. The main peak is 292 meters above sea level, and the specific height is less than 200 meters. It consists of limestone, sandstone and shale. Part of it is located in Guhua Village and Gan Yang Village, Shijie Town, Guangde City, Anhui Province.
