When there is drought in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, what kind of weather appears in the North China Plain?

The precipitation in eastern China is closely related to the north-south movement of subtropical high. Every summer, the western Pacific subtropical high (called Hawaiian high) expands, and its western edge can extend to the eastern part of China. At the same time, as the direct point of the sun moves northward, the subtropical high will also move northward, thus pushing the rainfall area in eastern China to move from south to north. Roughly every April and May, the rain area is located in South China, and from late June to early July, the rain area is located in the Huaihe River Basin (Meiyu). From July to August, the rain area pushed to the North China Plain and the Northeast Plain. At this time, under the control of subtropical high, downward flow prevails in Jianghuai area, with hot weather and scarce precipitation, which is called summer drought weather.
