Weather in Pinghe county

On the morning of the third day of the first month, the weather was exceptionally sunny. My parents and I, as well as my fat aunt, went on a pilgrimage to the quiet Sanping Temple and enjoyed the beautiful scenery there.

Sanping Temple is a famous thousand-year-old temple in southern Fujian. It is located in the mountains, with beautiful scenery, continuous forests and beautiful scenery, which is a good place for people to travel and escape the summer. I heard that Sanping Temple was packed on New Year's Eve. There are young and faithful men and women, and there are old people over seventy. They come here in droves to spend New Year's Eve, which makes the incense here more vigorous and lively. It is really unique.

Along the way, surrounded by mountains and lush trees, we talked and laughed in the car, our faces were filled with happiness, and laughter kept coming from the car. Looking out of the window, ah, clouds are winding around the mountains, as if there were fairies living there. The mountain road twists and turns, high and low, and unconsciously, we have come to Sanping Temple.

The gate of Sanping Temple is tall and majestic, with extraordinary momentum, which makes people feel dignified at first sight. Look inside again, yeah! Sanping Temple is crowded with people. There are an endless stream of pilgrims here, and the door has long been crowded with people. Bang, bang, bang!' Before we reached the main hall, firecrackers exploded. We finally "squeezed" into the main hall, and it was even more smoky. Everyone held the incense high for fear of burning others. The smoke made me cut off the "Jin Doudou". Ah! There are so many incense in Sanping Temple! Everyone is taking advantage of the good day of the New Year to worship the ancestors of Sanping Temple, praying for a good year and a safe family!

Do you know that?/You know what? There is an interesting legend about the founder of Sanping Temple!

Yang Yizhong was born in Fuqing County, Fujian Province on the sixth day of the first month, and has been living in Fujian with his father since his birth. He was smart and studious since he was a child, and he never forgets anything about poetry. When he grew up, he led many monks and nuns to climb mountains and wade in order to avoid the wave of Li Yan's "abolishing Buddhism and destroying monks" in the Tang Dynasty, and took refuge in the nine-story rock in Pinghe. Seeing the green mountains and green waters and beautiful scenery here, it is a good place to preach, so Sanping Temple was built here. He not only helped local villagers to see a doctor, but also taught them to farm, which improved their productivity and greatly improved their lives. Later, after his death, the local villagers honored him as the "founder of Sanping Temple" and carved a statue for him for future generations to pay tribute to. Looking at the statue of my ancestors sitting in the middle of the hall, I also learned to worship devoutly like an adult. I suddenly remembered the people who were affected by the disaster in Sichuan not long ago, and hoped that the founder of Sanping Temple would bless them to rebuild their beautiful homes as soon as possible.

I saw a lot of people when I came out. Many people washed their hands and faces by the Tiger Spring. So, we also walked over and came to Tiger Spring. We washed our hands and drank sweet spring water. We were so happy!

On the way home, I thought to myself: I want to study hard and I must be a person who contributes to society in the future.
