If you don't want to go that far, you can go to Songdo, which is smaller and closer to Dandong. Because of the late development, the island style is very simple, and it is very cheap to live in an islander's house, around 30 yuan. Fireworks are set off at night, which is very beautiful.

Rafting-Huangyishan (the wonder of volcanic formation, you can also drift, Dandong to Huangyishan tickets 25 yuan, tickets 30, drifting 60), Jiushui Gorge is near Dandong.
