When is the right time to plant carrots?

The best time to plant carrots is between light summer and heavy summer, and some are planted in spring.

Sowing method;

1. Seed soaking: Before sowing 1 day afternoon, soak the seeds in warm water at 37℃ 12 ~ 16 hours, take them out and dry them, and mix them with dry sand for sowing. In order to sow evenly, add more sand.

2, sowing: sowing, drilling can be. The covering thickness is about1.5cm.. After sowing, rake with a rake for 2 ~ 3 times to make the ground flat and the floating soil on the seeds should be finely divided. After sowing, pat the surface of the border with a shovel back, and the seeds are closely combined with the soil.

3. Spraying herbicides: Carrots emerge slowly. After seed soaking, it takes about 10 days from sowing to emergence. Weeds are usually unearthed before seedlings. Therefore, it is best to spray 200ml herbicide and 50kg water on the border on the day of sowing or the next day, and the control rate of most weeds can reach 80%.

4. Watering: After sowing, if it doesn't rain, water along the ditch on the day of sowing, otherwise the emergence rate will be affected. When watering, make the water seep from bottom to top, keep the soil surface moist, and prevent the rain from hardening the soil and causing difficulties in seedling emergence.
