Ding Xianfei: Guanzhuang Village, Changgou Town, Sixian County, Anhui Province, which had an accident, had been dry for a long time before. The day before the accident, it kept raining. At 3 am, a scream sounded. When his wife Zhang rushed into Zhu's room, she found her lying in bed covered in blood. At that time, her family thought she had been struck by lightning, but it was later confirmed that there was no thunder that day.

Although Zhu was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment, she died.

Life: What is the structure of the house where the accident happened? What did you see at the scene?

Ding Xianfei: The accident site was a bungalow built on the plain. When I arrived at the scene, I saw a hole the size of a fist on the roof. Although the house has been cleaned, there is still obvious blood. Although the bed where Zhu was lying had been moved out of the door, I still saw the hole where the bed was punctured.

Life: Where were the artificial rain shells fired? How far is it from the scene of the accident? Did you see the dud that caused the accident?

Ding Xianfei: The shells were fired in front of the local town police station. As far as I know afterwards, artificial rainfall is also strictly examined and approved, and it is also filed. It takes about 20 minutes by car from the launch site to Zhu's home. I didn't see the dud because the police had already surveyed the scene when I arrived at the scene and the dud was taken away.

Life: How old was the deceased Zhu? What consequences did her death bring to her family?

Ding Xianfei: Zhu is a 54-year-old ordinary farmer. She is simple in appearance and healthy. Although simple in character, but also very capable, is the pillar of the family. On the contrary, her husband is thinner.

At the time of the incident, Zhu slept with her little grandson. Her unexpected death had a certain psychological impact on the 4-year-old boy. Three days after the incident, it was also the day when Zhu's youngest daughter took the senior high school entrance examination. Because of this unexpected tragedy, my little daughter failed the exam again and gave up the senior high school entrance examination.

Life: I heard that there was also a dud accident in artificial rainfall that day?

Ding Xianfei: I learned in the interview that a "foreign body" fell from the sky and went deep underground in a family in Xiangshu Village, Lingbi County on the night of June 22. Fortunately, this incident did not cause any casualties. A person in charge of the Suzhou Meteorological Bureau subsequently confirmed to reporters that the "foreign body" was also an artificial rainfall shell without explosion.

Life: Can you say that this tragedy was not an accident?

Ding Xianfei: In the interview, experts told me that it was very accidental that a dud happened. But in artificial rainfall, such a small probability is allowed.

Life: What was the result of the accident investigation?

Ding Xianfei: According to the introduction of relevant parties, the relevant equipment for launching artillery shells is guaranteed every year, and there is definitely no problem in doing regular maintenance; Gunners all hold employment certificates; The launch site also has corresponding approval procedures, which are reported step by step, and the procedures are complete. Ding Xianfei: After the incident, the county also attached great importance to this matter. As far as I know, the family of the deceased also received compensation of 96,000 yuan. However, monetary compensation can't cure the pain that the accident brought to the whole family. Especially the little grandson who witnessed his grandmother's death needs some psychological counseling.

Life: What is your biggest feeling about artificial rainfall and this tragedy?

Ding Xianfei: Since May and June this year, the drought in northern Anhui has been very serious. Counties and cities in northern Anhui are using artificial rainfall to alleviate the drought. It can be said that artificial rainfall has indeed alleviated the drought to a great extent. Because of a small probability accident in artificial rainfall, Zhu died, and my first reaction was sympathy. Another immature idea is whether the government should inform in advance when artificial rainfall is about to be implemented. In addition, what measures can be taken to avoid such a tragedy?
