Survey elevation error in Linzhi area, Tibet

The error within 30km is 1.3m, which is absolutely beyond the limit error. Please check whether the known data, instrument height and mirror height are entered correctly, and whether there are any errors in the measurement steps.

I have never worked in Tibet, so I can't give an authoritative opinion.

However, the meteorological correction value of total station does affect the measurement results.

1. When the temperature error is 1 degree, it will bring an error of 1mm/km to the distance value;

2. When the air pressure measurement error is 1 HPA, it will bring an error of 0.3mm/km to the distance value;

3. The meteorological reference point of total station is generally 15 degrees, 10 13 hectopascals (or 760mmHg).

It is suggested that you input the average temperature predicted by the weather forecast of the day into the range finder of temperature and measured air pressure, which can generally meet the requirements of ordinary lofting.
