Tengchong has many things to play, such as hot springs, hot air balloons or ginkgo biloba. As long as you want to know about Tengchong, there are still many surprises waiting for you to discover. The following small series introduces you to the scenic spots.

Rehai

Tengchong must go to the hot springs, where there are many hot springs and unique scenery. There are more than 80 air springs and hot springs in Rehai Scenic Area, and the water temperature of 10 hot springs reaches over 90, the most famous of which is Rehai Dagunguo Scenic Resort Scenic Area.

This is a round hot spring pool with a diameter of 6 meters and a water temperature of 96. Here are some boiled eggs in cauldrons and scenic spots, strung together with straw, one in 5 yuan. You can try.

At present, there are only two hot springs in Rehai Scenic Area: Bath Valley and Beauty Pool, both of which need to be charged separately.

Tips:

1. The hot springs in Tengchong Rehai Scenic Area are very hot, so don't touch them casually to avoid burns.

2. Before soaking in hot springs, you should take a warm bath to avoid sudden drop of blood pressure and dizziness due to anemia. Don't soak in hot springs after drinking. Hot springs should avoid fasting and after meals.

3. Take off your metal jewelry before soaking in the hot spring to prevent the jewelry from vulcanizing into black.

Volcano geological park

Tengchong has 97 volcanoes. If you want to explore volcanoes, this is the best choice, especially the volcanic geological park in Tengchong. Volcano Geopark has three main attractions, namely Dakong Mountain, Columnar Joint and Heiyu River. Because they are far apart, we usually go to Dakong in Mazhan Township first.

If you feel that you can't climb the mountain to see the distance, you can also choose to take a hot air balloon and enjoy the beautiful scenery here from another angle. After seeing the volcano, you can take a van to the columnar joint at the gate and the Heiyu River scenic spot. Columnar joints are unique landforms in volcanic areas, and Heiyu River is a river where two underground undercurrents meet. This river is mainly named after the little black fish in the river, and there are vendors who know a lot about grilled fish by the river.

There is no place to eat in the scenic spot. It is recommended to visit the town in front of the scenic spot before eating. Remember to prepare dry food with you.

1. You should go to the scenic spot early and watch it in a hot air balloon. The business hours of hot air balloons are 8:00- 1 1:00, and changes in weather and airflow may lead to unstable operation hours. It is recommended to check the local weather forecast.

2. Put away the tickets for the Volcano Geopark, and the staff will check the tickets at the columnar joints and Heiyu River scenic spot.

3. The three parts of the scenic spot are far away, so it is recommended to charter a car.

Heshun ancient town

Heshun Ancient Town completely retains the cultural characteristics of China in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and is also known as the living fossil of ancient buildings. It used to be the only way of the Southwest Silk Road, so many foreign cultures will blend here. Compared with Dali and Old Town of Lijiang, the environment here is safer. The ancient town is built on the mountain, with ancestral halls, memorial archways and ancient houses in Ming and Qing dynasties all over the town.

Main attractions: Myanmar Anti-Japanese War Museum, Zhongtian Temple, Wanlouzi, Liu Ancestral Hall, Ai Siqi Memorial Hall, Wenchang Palace and Heshun Library.

Beihai swamp

This is one of the top attractions that Tengchong must not miss. In spring and summer, there are flowers, reeds and flocks of birds. In summer, there will be lush Beihai orchid, reed mat grass, water bamboo, floating grass and some wild flowers. In autumn and winter, although many plants are swaying, there will be a large number of migratory birds migrating, which is the spectacular place of flying toads.

Gudong town

Gudong Town is definitely the most famous ginkgo tree here. There will be large and small ginkgo trees around the villagers' homes, and you will feel the "golden land" when you arrive. In recent years, villagers have been cultivating small ginkgo trees. There are about 33,000 ginkgo trees here, covering an area of 1000 mu, which can be said to be the largest, most concentrated and oldest ginkgo forest found in Yunnan at present. Compared with Yunnan University, there is no one to disturb here, not too much tacky, and there is no business atmosphere.

Shuttle bus:

1. You can take CMB at Tengchong Ximen Station to Gudong Town. The operation time is 8:00- 19:00, and the shuttle bus runs every 40 minutes, 15 minutes. There is a minibus in Gudong Town, which turns to Jiangdong and goes around 7 yuan one way.

2. Gudong Town is close to Tengchong National Volcano Geopark. You can take the shuttle bus to visit the volcano park first, and then take the van to Gudong Town.

Charter: There is a van near Ximen Station to Yinxing Village. The fare is around 20 yuan.
