What geographical technology is gis?

What is gis? Geographical technology is introduced as follows:

Geographic information technology is the technology of collecting, storing, managing, analyzing and displaying geographic information. There are three main types:

(1) remote sensing. Remote sensing is a technology based on sonar, electromagnetic wave and gravity field sampling to obtain and interpret environmental spatial data and mine surface information without touching ground objects. The Canadian Remote Sensing Center defines remote sensing as a science that perceives and records surface reflection or radiation energy without actual contact, and processes, analyzes and applies the obtained surface information.

(2) Global Positioning System. GPS, the global positioning system for satellite timing, ranging and navigation, is a satellite radio navigation and positioning system based on earth orbit. Signals can be received on the surface of the earth at any time, any place and any weather, and the accurate 3D absolute or relative position, accurate time and speed of the GPS receiver can be obtained in real time or through post-processing. It has omni-directional (land, ocean, aviation and aerospace), global, all-weather, continuous and real-time navigation, positioning and timing functions.

(3)G 1S .GIS technology is the core of geographic information technology. From simple computer mapping, spatial database management, GIS model to spatial reasoning, the development of GIS technology has expanded the scope of geographic information technology.
