Where is Gao Ping?

Gaoping City is located in the southeast of Shanxi Province, at the northern end of Zezhou Basin and at the southwest edge of Taihang Mountain. Qin Hui Highway runs through the east and west, and Taijiao Railway and Tailuo Highway run through the territory in parallel. Geographical coordinates are 35 40 "-36 0" north latitude and112 40 "-11310" east longitude. The altitude is between 800-1391.1m. Tiefo Ridge borders Lingchuan County in the east, Qinshui County in the west of Ma Lao Ridge, Zezhou County in the south of jiepai, Zhangzi County in the northwest of Danzhuling, and Changzhi County in the northeast of Jin Quan Mountain. It is 4 1km long from east to west and 37km long from north to south, with a total area of 946 square kilometers, accounting for about one tenth of the total area of China. The plane outline is approximately square.

The highway mileage in Lingchuan County is 47 kilometers east, west Qinshui County 10 1 km, south to Jincheng City 4 1 km, north to Changzhi City 64 kilometers, Taiyuan City 335 kilometers, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province 242 kilometers and Beijing City 704 kilometers.

The territory of Gaoping City is close to a square, surrounded by mountains on three sides, such as a dustpan. The Danhe River runs through the central part of the city from northwest to southeast, and its basin is flat and wide to the south. The whole terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, with a general height difference of about 300 meters. The highest point is Jinquan Mountain, bordering Changzhi County in the northeast, with an altitude of 139 1. 1 m, and the lowest point is the location of du cun in Hexi Town, with an altitude of 800 meters. The relative height difference of the whole city is 59 1 m.

Gaoping city has mountains and water, and the terrain is complex. According to its formation characteristics, it can be divided into three topographic types: valley Pingchuan area, loess hilly area and middle and low mountainous area. Pingchuan area in the valley is distributed on both sides of the Danhe River system, which is formed by alluvial and flood, and looks like an irregular strip, accounting for about 17% of the total area. Loess hilly area is located in the transition zone from Pingchuan area to mountainous area, which is roughly square, accounting for about 35%. The middle and low mountainous areas are located in Wushen Mountain, Wulong Mountain Scenic Resort Scenic Area Mountain and shouyangshan on the west and north edges of the city, and Hanwang Mountain and Qifoshan in the middle form irregular right angles, accounting for 48% of the total area.

Gaoping has a continental warm temperate monsoon climate. There are four distinct seasons throughout the year, with the same season of rain and heat and strong monsoon. According to the observation data of the Municipal Meteorological Bureau 1958-2000, the average temperature for many years is 9.8℃, the extreme maximum temperature is 38.6℃ (1 966 June 2 1), and the extreme minimum temperature is-24.0℃ (1967 June/kloc-). The maximum frozen soil depth is 0.56m, the average sunshine hours for many years is 2532.5h, the average annual precipitation in the whole city is 589.4mm, the maximum annual precipitation is1113.3 mm (1954), and the minimum annual precipitation is 305.9 mm (1). Due to the influence of topography, climate and other factors, the temporal and spatial distribution of precipitation in the city is uneven, and there is a great difference between high and low rainfall. The precipitation in flood season accounts for 72.5% of the annual precipitation, the average evaporation for many years is 1735mm, and the drought index is 2.8.

Railways and highways crisscross. Taijiao Electrified Railway, Jinchang Expressway, 207 national highway and Jinchang Highway run through the north and south in parallel, and Qu Hui Secondary Highway runs through the east and west, forming a "four vertical and one horizontal" traffic pattern. The city has basically realized oil access to every village. The rural power grid transformation has been completed, and the urban power grid transformation is coming to an end. There are 9 substations above 35KV in the city, including 2 1 10KV substations and 7/35kV substations. The power grid structure tends to be reasonable, and the city's electricity demand is basically met. The capacity of program-controlled telephone exchanges exceeds 35,000, the number of mobile telephone users reaches more than 50,000, and 86 GSM base stations have been built, thus realizing program-controlled communication between towns and villages and telephone communication between villages.
