Specifically, the spontaneous combustion of peat fermentation refers to the continuous accumulation of plant residues, litter and ground cover organic matter produced by natural replacement, which is transformed into peat layer in a certain environment, and the peat layer spontaneously burns at high temperature for a long time.

Coal mines (coal gangue) and white phosphate rocks distributed in forest areas are also one of the conditions that cause forest spontaneous combustion. In the process of coal mining and processing, a large number of coal gangue will be produced and discharged, which are widely distributed in some key forest areas in Chongqing. When there are combustible materials, oxygen is sufficient, and the heat storage reaches the ignition point, coal gangue is easy to burn. "

After the fire broke out, some people on the internet suggested using helicopters to put out the fire, but in fact this idea is unrealistic.
