Preparation steps:

1. Knead the dough first. The green pea part is made from spinach juice. After washing the spinach, add some water to squeeze it into juice and filter it. Reserve for later. Prepare 2 portions of the ingredients and knead them into two smooth doughs of the same size (add sugar, yeast and salt to the flour, and knead the dough with water).

2. Divide the white dough into 5-gram pieces and the green dough into 14-gram pieces, and roll them all into balls. Just make it look like the picture below.

3. Take out the green dough and roll it into a round shape with a rolling pin.

5. Take 3 small pieces of white dough and put them into the middle of the green dough, then fold the green dough in half and pinch the outer circle to close.

6. Use the same method to make all the pea buns, and finally use a toothpick to gently press the skin between the peas to form a curvature. Put it into the steaming oven, close the door and select "Constant Temperature Fermentation", ferment at 35 degrees for about 15 minutes. If you don’t have a steam oven at home, just place it in a warm place for fermentation until it doubles in size.

7. After fermentation, select pure steaming mode and steam at 100 degrees for 20 minutes. When the time is up, just take it out. You can also use a steamer to steam, steam over high heat for about 20 minutes, then turn off the heat and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes before it is ready. The good-looking and delicious pea steamed buns are already ready. It is simple and convenient. You can make a little more at night and heat it up the next morning to eat. Tips:

1. In addition to using spinach juice, we can also use matcha powder. Depending on your preference, you can also make it into other colors. For purple, use purple. Potatoes, red ones use carrots, etc.

2. When kneading the dough, add it according to the amount of water absorbed by the flour. As long as it can be kneaded into a smooth dough.

3. Pay attention to the fermentation time of the dough. If the fermentation time is too long, the shape of the peas will not be good, and the taste will also be affected to a certain extent.
