Brief introduction of Emei Mountain
Mount Emei [2] (longitude: 103.48 latitude: 29.59), together with Mount Wutai in Shanxi, Mount Putuo in Zhejiang and Mount Jiuhua in Anhui, is known as the four famous Buddhist mountains in China and is a world-famous bodhisattva Dojo. There are peaks that are relatively like moths, hence the name. Including big Emei, second Emei, third Emei and fourth Emei. The main peak is 3099 meters, which is 2500 meters higher than Chengdu Plain. 2600 meters. It is a folded fault-block mountain with a deep valley at the fault. A line of sky, cliffs and other cliffs as high as 700? 850 meters. The mountains are majestic, the valleys are deep, the waterfalls are like curtains, the sea of clouds is surging, and the trees are lush, so it is called "Emei is the best in the world". There are many Buddhist temples on the mountain, which are famous tourist attractions. Mount Emei is located in the southwest of Sichuan Basin and the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, standing between Dadu River and Qingyi River, 7 kilometers southwest of Mount Emei City and 37 kilometers east of Leshan City. It is a famous Buddhist mountain and tourist resort, and is known as "Emei is the best in the world". It is a national-level mountain scenic spot integrating Buddhist culture and natural scenery. Wanfo Peak, the main peak of Mount Emei, is 3099 meters above sea level. The whole mountain is magnificent, rich in vegetation and lush, so it has the reputation of "Xiongxiu". Because of its considerable height and huge area, the climbing route is nearly a hundred miles, which poses a strong challenge to ordinary climbers. In recent years, a cableway has been built, and tourists can easily climb to the top of the mountain overlooking the sea of clouds in Wan Li. In Jinding, they can enjoy the sunrise, the sea of clouds, the Buddha's light and the magic lamp. Buddha's light is the most magnificent spectacle of Mount Emei. There are dozens of Buddhist temples on Mount Emei, and there are many exquisite Buddhist treasures in the temples. Many old people who believe in Buddhism take pains step by step to have fun and rest, and it will take more than ten days to reach the top of the mountain. Numerous tourists who are fascinated by curiosity have crossed the ocean and have been willing to leave this mountain for several years after many twists and turns. Emei Mountain's beautiful natural landscape and good ecological environment make it an ideal place for people to explore miracles and seek immortality and monasticism. 1982, Emei Mountain was approved by the State Council as the first batch of national-level scenic spots in the name of Emei Mountain Scenic Spot. 1996, Mount Emei and Leshan Giant Buddha were both included in the World Natural and Cultural Heritage List, becoming the dual natural and cultural heritage of all mankind. In 2007, Emei Mountain Scenic Area was officially approved by the National Tourism Administration as a national 5A-level tourist attraction.
Mount Emei is cloudy, with little sunshine and abundant rainfall. Part of the plain belongs to subtropical humid monsoon climate, with the average temperature of 1 month about 6.9 degrees, and the average temperature of July 26. 1 degree. Mount Emei has high altitude, steep slope and obvious vertical distribution of climate zone. It has a warm temperate climate with an altitude of1500m ~ 2100m. The altitude of 2 100 meters to 2500 meters belongs to the middle temperate climate; Above 2500 meters above sea level, it has a sub-cold climate. The area above 2000 meters above sea level is covered with snow and ice for about half a year, from June 10 to April of the following year. Emei Mountain Scenic Area presents different climatic characteristics with different altitudes. Below the Yin Qing Pavilion is a low mountain area with lush vegetation, cool breeze and clear spring water, and the temperature is not much different from that of the plain. Just add some clothes sooner or later. Qingyinge to Xixiangchi Scenic Area is located in Zhongshan District, and the temperature is 4℃-5℃ lower than that in the plain below the mountain. Tourists should prepare enough clothes. Xixiangchi Scenic Area to Jinding is a high mountain area. People walk in the clouds, and the cold rain suddenly rises. The temperature is about 12℃ lower than that of Guobao Temple at the foot of the mountain. A large number of cotton-padded clothes are prepared for tourists on the mountain, and tourists can rent them. There is a "dividing line" in the middle of Mount Emei, which is called the "dead room" under the mountain and the "underworld" on the mountain. Cumulus clouds have a certain weight, so they are on the border of Mount Emei. So tourists often hear thunder in Jinding, but only the "dead" are raining, and the "underworld" will not rain.
Emei Mountain Scenic Area covers an area of 154 square kilometers, including four mountains: Da 'e, Er 'e, San 'e and Si 'e. Da 'e is the main peak of Emei Mountain, which is commonly called Da 'e Mountain. Two mountains, Da 'e and Er 'e, stand opposite each other. From a distance, the two peaks are ethereal, just like Emei Mountain.
Thrushcross, the majestic momentum of its rise, made Li Baifa, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, admire that "Emei is higher than the West Pole" and that "there are many fairy mountains in Sichuan, and Emei is unparalleled". Mount Emei is famous for its fog. It is foggy and rainy all the year round. The clouds that pervade the mountains are unpredictable, making Emei Mountain graceful. Mount Emei is mountainous, majestic, beautiful and full of weather. Known as a wonderful metaphor of "four seasons in one mountain, ten miles in different days". Tan Zhongyue, a poet in the Qing Dynasty, summarized the beautiful scenery of Mount Emei into ten types: golden dome with auspicious light, moonlight like a pool, nine immortals' mansion, flood of spring rain, white water and autumn wind, clear sound in Shuangqiao, snow in Daping, green rocks, clear clouds in Luo Feng, and night bells with sacred traces. Nowadays, people constantly discover and create many new landscapes, such as the Red Pearl Green, the Huxi Tingquan, the Longjiang plank road, the Longmen Waterfall, the Donglei Yanyun, the Feihong, the Upright and the Chinese fir forest. The new ten scenic spots in Emei are: Jinding Golden Buddha, Wanfo Chaozong, Xiaoping Love, Yin Qing Pinghu, Hou Ling, the first mountain pavilion, cliff stone carving, Xiujia Waterfall, Yingbin Lake and the starting point of famous mountains. They are all charming. Into the mountains, the mountains are green and the ancient trees are towering; The peak turns and the cloud breaks the bridge; Deep valleys, the sky is high and the clouds are light; Rivers flow, and the sound of water gurgles; Fairy birds sing and butterflies dance; Monkeys play, frogs play; Strange flowers pave the way, and the sky has holes. In spring, everything is sprouting and lush; In summer, a hundred flowers blossom and are colorful; Autumn leaves are full of mountains and colorful; Winter is covered with snow. Climbing the Jinding, you can overlook it, with a wide field of vision and magnificent scenery. Watching the sunrise, the sea of clouds, the Buddha's light and the sunset glow is refreshing; Overlooking Xuefeng, Gongga Mountain and Wawu Mountain in the west, the mountains are connected with the sky; Looking at the top of the Buddha in the south, the clouds are rolling and the momentum is magnificent; A bird's-eye view of Baili Pingchuan in the north is like a resplendent shop with a panoramic view of Dadu River and Qingyi River. Being at the top of Emei, I really sigh that "all other mountains look short in the world." .
Ten scenes at present

The monkey of Mount Emei is the spirit of Mount Emei. It is playful, interesting and very human. Seeing people is not surprising, playing with people and having fun with people have brought a lot of fun to tourists and become a living landscape of Emei Mountain. Playing with monkeys, feeding monkeys, observing them in various ways, understanding their living habits and getting in close contact with them have become an essential project for tourists to travel to Emei Mountain. Emei Mountain Ecological Monkey Zone is located between Yin Qing Pavilion, Yixiantian and Hongchunping in Emei Mountain. This is a long and narrow valley, covering 25 hectares. It is the largest natural ecological monkey reserve in China at present. There are 3 family-style wild monkeys and more than 300 monkeys in the ecological monkey area. Wanfo Peak is the highest peak of Mount Emei, with an altitude of 3,099 meters, which means "Pu Xian is surrounded by thousands of buddhas". Emei Mountain is a virgin forest eco-tourism area, with ten thousand Buddha Pavilion, alpine rhododendron forest, black bear ditch, immortal turning back and other attractions. The Wanfo Pavilion is 2 1 m high, majestic and solemn, and the "wishing ancient clock" hanging on the roof is simple and solemn. The Wanfo Pavilion is very particular about ringing the bell, often 108 times: once in the morning and once in the evening, 18 times, 18 times, and so on, twice, * * * 108 times, too. Buddhism also explained that ringing the bell 108 times can eliminate 108 kinds of worries and distractions. 1980 In the summer, Comrade Deng Xiaoping, the chief architect of China's reform and opening up and then vice chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, visited Mount Emei. When he reached the end of the scenic highway at that time-Shuangshuijing, he stopped to take a nap here. Comrade Xiaoping climbed high into the distance, with an open mind and high spirits. Facing the beautiful scenery of Mount Emei, he earnestly instructed: "Mount Emei is cultural." It is necessary to do a good job in protection, planning and comprehensive development; We must strengthen construction and management. Do things in the spirit of climbing mountains. "In memory of this great man, the Deng Xiaoping Mountaineering Memorial Pavilion was built here, which consists of monuments, deep-water fish, water, guiding mountains and mountaineering. Yin Qing Pinghu is located next to the Yin Qing Pavilion, with an area of 300,000 square meters. It is a green ecological lake with pure water quality and crystal clear bottom. Surrounded by green hills, ancient trees are towering, and the lake is inlaid like jasper, one deep and one shallow, bit by bit. I don't know whether the tree reflects the lake or the lake dyes the tree. In the meantime, I only heard cicadas singing in the shade of trees, the mountain wind blowing, and the slightest moisture washed away all the dust, which made me feel like a scenery and happiness. It's cool in summer, bright in autumn and beautiful in scenery. It's a holiday resort. Even in winter, cold early spring, there is no cold wind and cold current, and it is still picturesque, full of green. The first mountain pavilion, located in the center of the low mountain tourist area, shows the rich and profound cultural heritage of Mount Emei, the majestic and unrestrained magnificence of Mount Emei, and embodies the ancient and modern culture of Mount Emei. It is the largest copper pavilion in China at present and the starting point for tourists to enter the mountains. Cliff stone carvings face the largest eco-tourism square in Emei Mountain, and are located next to the yoga trail, with the red Pearl Peak in the north, and the yoga river flows slowly from the side, adding a sense of tranquility and elegance. The nine bright red characters "the first mountain in China" and "the best in the mountains" on the cliff show the prominent position of Mount Emei among the famous mountains in China and show the world its natural and cultural charm. The famous sayings of celebrities around represent the evaluations of different figures in Wei, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties on the "first mountain" of Emei. Xiujia Waterfall is a major landscape of Yingbin Square. " Xiu Jia Tian Xia "is the condensation of" Emei Tian Xia Xiu ",and the word" A "highlights the beautiful status of Emei and the temperament of Emei people. At the same time, the archways of "Xiujia Tianxia" and "Tianxia Famous Mountain" echo each other, supplementing and emphasizing the characteristics of "Tianxia Famous Mountain" and summarizing the historical position and landscape characteristics of Emei Mountain. Standing in front of the waterfall, I saw the waterfall falling from the sky, a white practice hanging on the stone wall, splashing water forming rain fog in the air, seven-color rainbows looming in the sun, and waves rolling and rumbling in the stream. Yingbin Stone Beach is the landmark landscape of Yingbin Square, next to the three Chinese characters of "the first mountain of Sinian" mentioned by monk Zhang Bao and "Emei Mountain" mentioned by Emperor Kangxi, and backed by Emei Tourist Center and Emei Museum. Surrounded by green shade, the mountain spring flows down from the stone, which is shaped like a silk screen, white in color, shaped like pearls inlaid with jade, and crystal inlaid with amber. The stream jumps and runs, and the sound of water sings happily, which represents the hospitable people of Emei and welcomes guests from all corners of the country. The starting point of the famous mountain is located in Huangwan Township, the first township of Emei Mountain, which is known as "Xanadu" and is the gateway of Emei Mountain Scenic Area. The "starting point of famous mountains" archway combines the artistic style of ancient north-south architecture, which has both the solemn momentum of northern architecture and the exquisite carving of southern architecture. The top of the archway adopts the typical corner-turning technique of Emei Mountain residential houses. The whole archway is an antique building, which is solemn, simple and elegant, integrating scenic area administration and passenger transportation, and is also an important part of "Digital Emei Mountain".

Jinding in Emei is adjacent to Wanfo Peak, the highest peak in Emei, with an altitude of 3079.3 meters. The mountains here are high and the clouds are low, and the scenery is magnificent. Visitors can sacrifice their lives in the steep jinding of Emei.
Enjoy the four wonders of sunrise, sea of clouds, Buddha's light and holy lamp by the rocks. If the weather is fine, you can also overlook the Gongga Snow Peak hundreds of miles away. Jinding is located in the cold zone, so tourists should pay attention to cold protection, and those who are weak should not stay for a long time. Buddha's light, sea of clouds and magic lamp are the three natural wonders of Jinding in Emei. Looking out from the Jinding viewing platform, when white clouds spread out in front of the platform and the sun shines on the clouds, you can see bright and colorful auras, which are often called "Buddha's Light". It is said that it is auspicious to be reflected by Buddha's light, so it is named Jinding Xiangguang. The sea of clouds is another wonder of Jinding in Emei. When the sky is clear in Wan Li, the fog rises in the deep valley and pervades the rocks. The more you accumulate, the thicker your eyes will be. The mountain peak at the top of Emei is like an island in the vast sea of clouds. There is no wind in the air, the clouds are like mirrors, and it is silent, as if you are in Penglai fairyland. In the wind, the sea of clouds churned, and Malik galloped, magnificent. On dark and windy nights, you can sometimes see a mysterious magic lamp in the valley under the rock. In fact, the magic lamp is neither from the underworld nor from the gods, but is produced by the burning of phosphine in nature. Mount Emei attracts tourists from all over the world with its Buddhist culture and unique and charming scenery, and brings people into the wonderful realm of majestic beauty. There are ten golden statues of Pu Xian around the Jinding.
The ten-square golden statue of Pu Xian in Jinding of Emei Mountain is the highest golden Buddha in the world and the first artistic model of the ten-square Pu Xian. The Golden Buddha is a gold-plated sculpture cast in bronze, 48 meters high and weighing 660 tons. It consists of a pedestal and a 10 square statue of Pu Xian. Among them, the pedestal is 6 meters high, 27 meters long and 27 meters wide, with Pu Xian's ten wishes engraved on all sides and decorated with granite relief. The square statue of Pu Xian weighs 350 tons. The Golden Buddha Hall is 48 meters high, representing the 48 wishes of Amitabha. The "Ten Directions" is Pu Xian's ten wishes, and the other symbolizes the ten directions of Buddhism, namely, east, south, west, north, southeast, southwest, northeast, northwest, up and down, which means that the wishes of Bodhisattva Pu Xian are endless and the width of the ten directions is broad. Pu Xian's ten heads are divided into three layers, with different expressions, representing ten kinds of mentality in the world. Wannian Temple is one of the main temples in Emei Mountain. Founded in the second year of the Eastern Jin and Yuan Dynasties (AD 420), it was named Fujian Base at that time. In the Song Dynasty, it was renamed Baishuifu Kenji. In the 28th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (AD 1600), a flat brick temple was built, which was completed the following year and renamed Shengshou Wannian Temple. The bronze statue of Pu Xian riding an elephant cast in the brick temple of the Song Dynasty and the Ming Dynasty is the treasure of the town temple. This bronze statue is 7.85 meters high and weighs 62 tons. Wannian Temple is a national key cultural relic protection unit. There are five existing halls: the Mountain Gate, the Maitreya Hall, the Brick Hall, the Towering Hall and the Daxiong Hall. The brick hall of Wannian Temple is one of the wonders of ancient architecture in China. The building has experienced 18 earthquakes in the past 400 years, but it is safe and sound, which is regarded as a miracle in the history of ancient architecture in China. 1986, Maitreya Hall, Prajna Hall, Ghost Bell Pavilion, Drum Tower Corridor and Mountain Gate were restored, making the whole temple more majestic and solemn. Yin Qing Pavilion is hidden under Niuxinling, and left Heilongjiang and right Bailong River embrace each other. There is a black boulder in the valley at the confluence, which looks like a bull's heart and is called a bull's heart stone. "Black and white washed ox heart" has become one of the famous landscapes in Emei Mountain. You have the Shuangfei Bridge, between which stands the Shuangfei Pavilion. Two clear streams flow under the bridge, and "Shuangqiao Yin Qing" is the scenic spot of Emei Mountain. There is a big stone at the intersection of two streams. The stream hit the big stone, making a loud noise, splashing waves and stirring up mist. Colorful red English appears in the sun, which is refreshing and pleasing to the eye. The poem "soaring two great Britain, a bull's heart through the ages" summarizes the characteristics of this pavilion. Yin Qing Pavilion was founded in 877 A.D. (the fourth year of Ganfu in Tang Xizong) by eminent Buddhist monks. Formerly known as Jiyun Pavilion, it was rebuilt in Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty and renamed Yin Qing Pavilion. There is a row of halls dedicated to three Buddha statues: Sakyamuni, Pu Xian and Manjusri. It is surrounded by mountains and waters, with beautiful streams, strange rocks and nymphs, and is known as the first scenic spot in Emei Mountain. Mount Emei is 700-3000 meters above sea level, and Heilongjiang and Bailong River are interspersed among them. The river bed has a large drop, forming numerous flowing springs, waterfalls and canyon cliffs. In Xianfeng Temple, Hongchunping and Qingyinge, the height difference between peaks and valleys is more than seven or eight hundred meters. Niuxin Temple is located at the foot of Niuxinling Mountain, with dense Chinese fir, which blocks the sunshine. This temple was called Yanfuyuan in ancient times, but it was gradually abandoned. It was the place where Sun Simiao, the drug king of the Tang Dynasty, practiced alchemy. A narrow strip of the sky
The first sight is the Heilongjiang Canyon to the west of Qingyin Pavilion. The confrontation between the two sides is as dangerous as a knife. It is about 6 meters wide and only 3 meters wide at its narrowest point. It stood on the cliff and fell straight to the bottom of the river. The situation is very dangerous. The plank road in Heilongjiang is the spring gorge landscape of Qingyinge Scenic Area. Located in the upper reaches of Baiyun Gorge in Heilongjiang, west of Yin Qing Pavilion 1 km. Heilongjiang originates from the Black Dragon Pool under Jiulao Cavern, passes through Hongchunping, reaches Qingyin Pavilion, and Bailong River flows into Emei River. After getting off Niuxinling and going up the mountain along the westbound Heilongjiang, the mountain road always twists and turns on both sides of the river. In the past, walking required wading back and forth between rocks and streams, and trudging between rocks. Therefore, the mountain roads in this area are commonly known as "twenty-four feet without doing it". Later, the scenic area management department built several small bridges and renovated them into flat cement mountain roads. Along the way, the waterfalls on both sides of the river roared and the rocks were rugged. The mountain road turns with the peaks of the stream, which is quite "winding and secluded". Hongchunping is located in the middle and lower part of Mount Emei, with an altitude of 1 100 meters. It was built in the Ming Dynasty and is called the Thousand Buddha Temple. Rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty, it was named after three ancient Toona sinensis trees in front of the temple. According to legend, the ancient Toona sinensis tree was planted in the Tang Dynasty. The trees here are lush, the shade is clear as a cloud, there is no noise at the foot of the mountain, there is no cold at the top of the mountain, the air is fresh and the environment is quiet, which is the most suitable summer resort for the whole mountain. During the Anti-Japanese War, Chiang Kai-shek stayed here. Xixiangchi Scenic Area is located in the middle of Mount Emei, with an altitude of about 2 100 meters. Legend has it that Pu Xian bathed in white elephants. Here, the mountains are crisp and the moonlight is the most beautiful. "Xiangchi jathyapple" is one of the ten scenic spots in Emei. If tourists can stay here on a full moon night, this experience will be extremely unique. Baoguo temple
Guobao Temple is the gateway to Mount Emei. It is located at the foot of Emei Mountain, with its back against the majestic Guangming Mountain and facing the beautiful Phoenix Bag. It is the largest temple in Emei Mountain and is called the first scene of Emei Mountain. Guobao Temple, formerly known as Huizong Hall, was built in the 43rd year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (16 15) and was destroyed by fire in the late Ming Dynasty. In the 11th year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty (1654), the Zen master of Wenda was rebuilt, and Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty named the National Temple. The tablet was written by Kangxi himself. After two expansions in Jiaqing and Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, it became a magnificent temple with four palaces and four pavilions. There are four temples in the temple, hidden among pines and cypresses, as well as newly-built pavilions and elegant gardens. There are three treasures in Guobao Temple. One is the Seven Buddha Hall (14 15), a giant porcelain Buddha with a height of 2.4 meters built in the 13th year of Yongle. The second is a large bronze bell with a height of 2.3 meters and a weight of 25 tons; The third is 14-story Huayan Copper Tower, which is 7 meters high and surrounded by more than 4,700 Buddha statues and the full text of Huayan Sutra. The copper tower is divided into three sections and fourteen grades, the lower section is a thick bowl, the upper section of the tower is a double pavilion, and the middle section is divided into two sections, with a huge tower eaves, with seven grades up and down. Huayan Copper Pagoda has the characteristics of ancient pavilions and Buddhist buildings in China. Most of the carvings on it belong to high relief with special shapes, like two pagodas with seven layers overlapping. It is second to none in large metal buildings. It is a precious cultural relic for studying ancient architecture and sculpture in China. Khufu Temple is the only place for tourists to climb Mount Emei. It's close to the national security temple. Founded in the Tang Dynasty, it was originally named Shenlong Hall. Later, it was renamed as Khufu Temple, because there were mountains behind the temple, and it curled up like a tiger. The temple was destroyed by fire in the late Ming Dynasty and expanded in the early Qing Dynasty. 13 The Chonglong Temple, which took 20 years to build, has a heavy building, complex pavilions and far-reaching twists and turns. Shui Sheng Pavilion
Shui Sheng Pavilion District is a place where religious attractions are concentrated. Chunyang Temple was built in the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty. There is a Samantabhadra stone not far from the temple, which is said to be the resting place for Pu Xian to climb mountains. Nearby, the Thousand-Man Cave is the remains of the seventh cave of Taoist Xu Ling, while the Cross Cave is passed down as the sword of Lv Chunyang. Wan Li is clear and white clouds rise from Qian Shan and Ran Ran. In an instant, the vast sea of clouds, like a white carpet, lies flat on the horizon, bright and clean, boundless and boundless, as if sleeping soundly. Sometimes, there are clouds on the horizon, and there are clouds in the sky. People stand between two clouds and feel very high. In the Southern Song Dynasty, Fan Chengda called the Sea of Clouds "Dolomite World" (Dolomite: Sanskrit, the name of the tree and the name of the sheep it gave birth to), while Buddhists called it "Silver World". Among the four famous Buddhist mountains in China, Buddhists regard the "Silver World" as a sea of clouds in Emei.
Meishan is called Wutai Mountain in the Golden World, Putuo Mountain in the Glass World and Jiuhua Mountain in the Ghost World. When the mountain wind blows, the sea of clouds drifts away and the peaks become islands in the sea; The sea of clouds gathered, and the valley of Qian Shan disappeared without a trace. The opening and closing of the sea of clouds is like a "green snake dancing in the mountains", and the weather is magnificent. When the wind is tight, the sea of clouds suddenly surges and rolls, sometimes flowing and stretching, like a powerful and unconstrained style, like the sea, like a snowball rolling on the ground. The most spectacular thing is that countless mushroom-shaped cloud columns are occasionally stirred up in the sea of clouds, taking off, slowly spreading out, and instantly turning into faint clouds. This mushroom cloud is extremely difficult to see. Fan Chengda's poems marvel at the changing sea of clouds: "The silver world of Ming Dynasty is mixed with white, which makes people dizzy and cold. The wild colors of the sky are open and closed, and the bleak changes are worrying about the sky. " The sky before dawn in Jinding is wonderful. East, deep purple space, Emei sunrise.
The sky and the earth are the same color, and gradually, a line is opened on the horizon, and wisps of red clouds float in, holding three or two clouds in Phnom Penh, indicating that a brilliant day is coming. Under the colorful clouds and the empty purple-blue sky, a little purple will spit out for a while, slowly rise and gradually become a small arc and a semicircle; Turn into orange and golden red; Then a slight jump, dragging fleeting taillights, a red sun embedded in the horizon. Sunrise varies greatly due to different meteorological conditions and seasons. When the weather is clear, the sun rises from the horizon and you can watch the whole process of magnificent sunrise; Or there are clouds on the horizon, when you see the sunrise, it is already a red sun on the horizon; Or the clouds are diffuse, and sometimes you can only see the morning glow and the sea of clouds. With the rising sun, the morning glow is all over the sky, and thousands of golden lights shine on the earth. Emei Mountain seems to be gradually covered with a golden cloak from head to toe, showing all its beautiful postures. At this moment, heaven and earth have become a golden world, symbolizing that "the morning is golden" means that the sky is vast and vast. Wanfo Peak is the highest peak of Mount Emei, with an altitude of 3,099 meters, which means "Pu Xian is surrounded by ten thousand buddhas". Emei Mountain is a virgin forest eco-tourism area, with ten thousand Buddha Pavilion, alpine rhododendron forest, black bear ditch, immortal turning back and other attractions. The Wanfo Pavilion is 2 1 m high and magnificent. The "wishing clock" hanging on the roof is solemn and dignified. The Wanfo Pavilion is very particular about ringing the bell, often 108 times: once in the morning and once in the evening, 18 times, 18 times, and so on, twice, * * * 108 times, too. Buddhism also claims that ringing the bell 108 times can eliminate 108 kinds of worries and distractions. The Wanfo Pavilion rings the bell, stands at the top of Mount Emei, facing Pu Xian in all directions, and rings the door of the Elysium with the bell to convey good wishes.
Edit the passage of biological paradise
Emei Mountain is evergreen all the year round and rich in animal and plant resources. It is known as the "ancient plant kingdom". Emei Mountain has lush vegetation, which varies with the terrain. According to statistics, there are more than 3700 kinds of plants. Due to the special terrain, abundant rainfall, diverse climate and complex soil structure, it has created a good ecological environment for the reproduction and growth of all kinds of creatures. Some people say that the number of plant species in Emei Mountain is equivalent to the sum of plant species in Europe. Among the plants growing in Emei Mountain, there are Davidia involucrata and Alsophila spinulosa, which are called living fossils of plants, as well as the famous Abies Emei, Nanmu and Toona sinensis. There are all kinds of orchids, azaleas and so on. And many precious medicinal plants and patches of bamboo forests. These plants adorn Mount Emei, creating a natural paradise for all kinds of animals. There are more than 2,300 kinds of wild animals in Emei Mountain, including rare giant panda, black stork, red panda, macaque, silver pheasant, butterfly, harpsichord frog, ring-hairy earthworm and so on. Monkeys in Emei Mountain are not surprised to see people and have fun with them, which has become a unique "living landscape" in Emei Mountain. The scientific name of monkeys in Emei Mountain is Tibetan macaque, also called Tibetan chief monkey. Because their tails are only 6~ 10 cm, which is much shorter than ordinary monkeys, they are also called "short-tailed monkeys". Many wild macaques haunt the roadside from time to time, preventing tourists from asking for food, which also adds a lot of fun to tourists. Emei Mountain Wild Natural Ecological Monkey Area is the largest wild natural ecological monkey area in China at present.

Records of Mount Emei and other materials record such a legendary story: In the sixth year of Yongping in the Eastern Han Dynasty (63 years), "On June 1st, a Pugong was collecting herbs in Yunchao, and he saw a deer trace like a lotus, which was different from others and was chased without a trace". When asked about the monks who practiced Mao in the mountains, the monks said that Bodhisattva Puxian was "Mount Emei as he wished". After Pugong returned to China, he built his house into a temple, and Emei Mountain developed into a Dojo in Pu Xian. Another source said that when Pu Gong of the Jin Dynasty was collecting herbs on the mountain, he saw an old man riding a white elephant and hiding. The records after that are basically the same. According to beliefs and legends, when temples were built in the past dynasties, they all centered on Pu Xian and developed into one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China.

Four famous Buddhist mountains in China: Wutai Mountain in Shanxi, Emei Mountain in Sichuan, Putuo Mountain in Zhejiang and Jiuhua Mountain in Anhui. Wutai Mountain in Shanxi (1) is shaped like a five-petal lotus, which is the earliest temple, known as the "roof of North China" and the Manjusri Dojo. (2) Mount Putuo, a "Buddhist country in the sea and sky", hangs alone in the blue sea and waves, and is the Dojo of the merciful Guanyin Bodhisattva. (3) The "Emei World Show" located hundreds of miles in Sichuan Basin is the Bodhisattva Dojo. (4) Jiuhua Mountain, which claims to have 480 temples, is the Dojo of the Great Wishing Bodhisattva that "the hell is not empty". .
Emei Buddhism
According to legend, Buddhism was introduced into Emei Mountain in 1 century, and Buddhists built temples here at the end of Han Dynasty. They regard Emei Mountain as the Dojo of Pu Xian, mainly worshiping the great master Pu Xian, and think that Emei is the place where Pu Xian gives lectures. According to Buddhist scriptures, Pu Xian and Manjusri are two major threats to Sakyamuni Buddha, Manjusri stands for "wisdom" and Pu Xian stands for "virtue".
