"Nanxun Town Travel Guide"

Words written at the front

What does Chengdu look like?

Chengdu is very comfortable. Take a walk, drink tea and chat at He Ming Teahouse; drink a cup of coffee and read an afternoon book at Fang's bookstore; eat skewers and drink Arctic Ocean on the roadside; turn off the lights at the BB on the 29th floor and look at the bright lights and airplanes in front of you The ups and downs of this is a comfortable Chengdu.

Chengdu is busy. I woke up at four in the morning, opened the curtains, and looked at the world outside the window on the 29th floor. I can't say the lights were very bright, but a third of the lights were on. In the stairwell of the Chino Building, I met a young girl who had just joined the company. She was wiping tears while making a phone call to a client. The Chengdu subway in the morning is no different from the Guangzhou subway. It is a busy Chengdu.

Chengdu is a place you will never get tired of. Here are the most delicious food in China, the most comfortable pace of life in China, the most precious circle in China, Taikoo Li, which is at the forefront of trends, and the Guanyin Pavilion that is still living in the 1980s. There is always a moment that reminds you Chengdu, miss Chengdu, come again and again.

If you have a little more time, you can try to visit, for example, Leshan. The popular beef and cold pot skewers across the country come from Leshan. Besides, Leshan is simply a city of gourmet food, and I couldn’t get enough to eat for three days and three nights. Many people in Chengdu will drive two hours on weekends to come to Leshan to eat for half a day and then go back.

You must also visit the Zhenjiang Giant Buddha, the confluence of the three rivers. After half a year of restoration, the skin of the Buddha is like the skin of a beauty camera, with the moss of history receded and stained with some secular fireworks. Maybe you have never seen the situation when the world was unified, but you must have heard the story that mountains are Buddhas and Buddhas are mountains.

Day 1 Leshan Food Tour

Itinerary: Haihuiyuan Old Grill—Yebobo Chicken—Yilao Santiao Beef— —Travel Notes Fat Sausage—Leshan Giant Buddha

I stayed in Leshan for two nights. The hotel gave me a food map. They were all nearby gourmet restaurants that both locals and tourists wanted to check in. So, based on the gourmet restaurants on the map, I selected a few special delicacies to check in.

Early in the morning, Leshan is very popular. Because I was hungry, I didn’t record Leshan in the morning. I can only describe it in words. On my way to forage, I would pass by two food ordering markets, one large and one small. The wet market is the place that best reflects local life.

Haihuiyuan Old Shaomai

Per capita: 10 yuan

Order: Shaomai, kelp chicken soup, pot stickers and Shaomai.

Address: No. 120 East Street, Shizhong District

Age: 10 years old. According to the innkeeper, this shop has been open in Leshan for a long time, and many old Leshan people like to go to their home to eat and sell. Because it was a working day, I got up late, and it was already past the breakfast rush hour when I went to the store. However, seeing the large number of bags and merchandise sold in the store, as well as the inventory, the business was definitely not worse than at noon and evening. Three aunts packed it together. In less than a minute, they packed up a basket to sell. They looked at me taking pictures and even joked with me about whether the ones they were selling looked like snow lotus.

The pickled pepper steamed dumplings are delicious. The fresh aroma of roasted pepper is forced out by the chili pepper, and the mouth is full of fresh aroma. With a bowl of warm chicken soup, I ate beef and mutton in Gansu for more than ten days, but could not drink the soup, and I immediately came back to life. I am still a soup maker in the South~~The chicken flavor of the kelp soup is not particularly strong, but it is precisely because of this that the freshness and sweetness of the kelp are highlighted, and it is worth recommending. I saw the uncle at the next table ordering a basket of fried dumplings, which looked pretty good, so I specially made a basket of fried dumplings before going to Chengdu in the evening. It tastes good, but the disadvantage is that you have to eat it in a cage. One person may not be able to complete it.

Who would have thought that such a breakfast would cost less than 10 yuan. I admired the prices in Leshan right from breakfast. It’s really a good idea.

Good bags are sold like this, neatly stacked one by one in a drawer, waiting to be steamed. The same orderly assembly line is also one of the reasons why old stores retain old customers. Everything is transparent and you are what you eat.

Ye Yuyan’s Begging Chicken

Per capita: 35 yuan

Must order: rattan or pepper pot, chicken soup rice, glutinous rice balls.

Address: No. 41, Leshan Gangdong Street, Shanghe Street

Tips: Yejia has a restaurant and packaged food, and the packaged food is right next door. The canteen environment is great, air-conditioned, and the store is very clean and hygienic.

When eating skewers in Leshan and Chengdu, don’t throw them away. When you check out, you rely on them. You count the coins according to how many cents each string costs, thinking that you will sign them one by one when you check out. As a result, when people weigh them, they immediately calculate the price. It's really amazing.

What I want is an incense pot. As a Guangxi person, this pot is not spicy at all, because it may be a cold pot, but the taste is super good. When getting food, my little brother always says, take as much as you like, and don’t be more eye-catching than your mouth ~ Because when eating alone, you are very restrained and only take what you particularly like.

Looking at the large pot of vine peppers in the next seat, I was embarrassed to ask if I could take a photo to deceive, hahaha, so I came up with the next picture. The vine peppers look good too, but there are a lot of peppers.

Chicken soup is a bit like rice cooked overnight at home. It warms the stomach and tastes like home. It tastes good and light when eaten with a little chicken. Especially when eaten with cold pot skewers, it is still boring.

Yi Laoba Tilted Beef

Per capita: 30 yuan

Points: Tilted Beef, Tilted Series, Steamed Fat Intestines, Steamed Fat Intestines.

Address: No. 100, Jiaochangba Street

Tip: As a person, I am afraid that the portion of each dish is too big. As soon as I walked in and saw the food on the other tables, I immediately felt at ease. The share is not too big, but the share alone is actually very large. When the boss saw that I was a tourist, he came up to introduce me. However, without looking at the menu, he asked me whether I wanted beef or sausage. He recommended two dishes, both of which are the signatures of this restaurant, and the portions are just right. In addition, I may go to Leshan several times for this toe beef~

The origin of toe beef: Legend has it that there used to be an old Chinese medicine doctor in Leshan, Sichuan. After seeing some wealthy people throwing their offal into the river, he felt it was a pity. , picked it up, cleaned it, and put it in the soup pot with the Chinese herbal medicine. It turns out this soup is delicious. Because it tastes delicious, it also has the effect of preventing and curing diseases. Therefore, there is an endless stream of people who come here specifically to drink, and they are all full. In the meantime, some people without seats were standing, some were squatting, and some were sitting cross-legged on the steps at the door, holding bowls and eating fast food. Over time, diners came up with another name for "cocked toe" beef, which has been passed down to this day.

Steamed pork intestines are slightly spicy, with pepper and other seasonings added, but the taste is really unique. The fat intestines should have been processed and will not bite. The soft and glutinous texture is almost impossible to hold with chopsticks.

After checking out, I found that the beef was completely scalded after ordering. No wonder it's so refreshing and tender.

Swimming Fat Intestine

Per capita: 40 yuan

Must order: Crispy Fat Intestine, Fat Intestine Rice Roll, and Fat Intestine Soup.

Address: No. 161, Boxbox Street, Shizhong District, Leshan City, Sichuan Province

A century-old store that claims to have originated during the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty! Because the environment was renovated, it no longer looked like a fly restaurant. As the name suggests, the Sausage Shop specializes in eating sausages. There are many varieties of sausages here. I looked at the menu and found that they have snack boxes, which is perfect for a single customer like me who wants to try everything. The waiter also recommended Xuewang, which is a must-try delicacy when visiting Sichuan, so I ate Xuewang while tasting various delicacies in the snack box. Fat sausage is really delicious. There are two flavors of fat sausage, namely crispy fat sausage and fat sausage glutinous rice roll. The texture and taste are different, but each has its own taste. As a fat sausage lover, I think it is a must-try. of gourmet food. No wonder the innkeeper recommends eating here first~

The snack box also comes with a bit of Leshan’s famous sweet-skinned duck. There are two specialty stores near Youfeichang, and there are many people there every time you pass by. We were waiting in line to try out the difference from the roast duck we have in Guangdong and Guangxi. In fact, it tastes almost the same, except that the sweet skin duck tastes sweeter and not as strong as the brine flavor in Guangdong and Guangxi.

The chicken feet are really delicious, but they are also really spicy. I don’t feel it when I eat it. After eating, my lips are numb. . .

In addition to eating in Leshan, I spent the rest of my time sleeping, bragging with the innkeeper, and watching the Giant Buddha. Why didn't I climb the Buddha on the mountain? It was because I was lazy. . . Before going to Leshan, I had just finished a 15-day trip to Gansu. It was full and tiring. I came to Leshan just to rest and relax, so naturally, I canceled all strenuous activities such as mountain climbing. But how could I not come to Leshan? What about the Big Buddha? In fact, there are many ways to see the Giant Buddha in Leshan.

The first way is to climb the Big Buddha and experience the shock of the Big Buddha up close. The ticket is 80 yuan. As a world-class scenic spot, the ticket is 80 yuan, which is actually very conscientious;

Method 2, take a boat trip to visit the Giant Buddha. This process only takes 30 minutes and does not require entering the scenic spot. The boat ticket is 50 yuan and there are boats departing from two piers. In fact, it is not far from the inn where I stayed, but it was not included in my consideration;

Method three, opposite the Leshan Government, take a ferry and ferry twice to the state directly opposite the Leshan Giant Buddha. There, you can view the Giant Buddha from a distance and there are many farmhouses. The ferry fee seems to be 3 yuan. There are basically no tourists there, because this news is the most authentic travel guide provided by the locals provided by the onlookers I attracted when flying;

Method 4 is the method I used, on the shore, Find a quiet, unobstructed corner and place your drone. I did some research before going to Leshan. I originally thought that drones should not be allowed to fly in Leshan. But then I looked at the map and found that there was no flight ban or restriction in Leshan, so I boldly spent two days in Leshan. I have flown it several times. It is said that Big Buddha has collected many drones in recent years. After all, the airflow on the river where the three rivers converge is not stable, so I was very cautious when I flew it for the first time. After the first experience, I became more and more relaxed on subsequent flights.

In Leshan, I chose an inn with a great location. On the top floor of the yellow building in the picture above, the viewing angle is great. You can see the Leshan Giant Buddha on the side. Many local photographers will come to the inn. Squat on the rooftop. When the drone flies up, you can see the difference in color of the river water where the three rivers converge.

The Leshan Giant Buddha in the distance is embedded in the stone mountain. It can be said that the mountain is a Buddha and the Buddha is a mountain.

Leshan is located at the confluence of three rivers. The Minjiang River, Qingyi River, and Dadu River converge at the foot of Lingyun Mountain. The water is quite ferocious, and boats are often overturned at this point.

During summer floods, the river flows directly into the mountain walls, often causing tragedies of shipwrecks and fatalities. Zen Master Haitong initiated it in order to reduce the power of the water and save all living beings. He recruited manpower and material resources to build the chisel. The Giant Buddha was excavated in the first year of Kaiyuan of the Tang Dynasty (713) and completed in the 19th year of Zhenyuan (803), which took about ninety years. The Big Buddha is a seated Maitreya Buddha with a height of 71 meters. It is the largest cliff-carved stone statue in China.

Starting at eight o'clock in the morning every day, cruise ships are loaded with tourists and transport tourists to the foot of the Big Buddha one by one. The river also became noisy.

As you can see from the front of the Big Buddha, there are not many tourists climbing up the mountain to see the Big Buddha. From the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, there are densely packed people.

Presumably their perspective is also very good, after all, it is the closest contact with the Buddha.

I originally wanted to come to Leshan to visit the Giant Buddha when I went to Chengdu last year. I still remember that when I was a child, I was shocked by the majesty of the Giant Buddha when I watched the scene. I could not forget it for a long time. I always thought about having the opportunity to go to Sichuan. If I don’t go to Jiuzhaigou, I must first see the Giant Buddha. As a result, in October last year, the Giant Buddha was under renovation and scaffolding was put up. So I had to refund the ticket after I booked it and wait for another chance. Fortunately, I still have the Buddha connection. In the first half of this year That's it. I didn’t go to Mount Emei either, but came specifically to see the Giant Buddha.

The perspective of looking down at the Big Buddha is still very spectacular, especially when compared with the tourists on the road, it can be seen how difficult it was to build the Big Buddha back then.

Tonghe Kaixiaozao

This is a little surprise I discovered unexpectedly during this trip. I was hungry in the evening, so I happened to go downstairs to buy a Coke. I saw Tongyi Kaixiaozao in the convenience store near the inn. It is a quick and easy meal that can be heated and eaten without the need of a microwave.

There are several flavors to choose from at Kai Xiao Zao. The one I bought was potato stewed beef brisket.

Tear open the outer packaging, and you will see that the inside is divided into two layers. It contains uncooked rice, dried vegetables, and a pack of meat and vegetables. All ingredients are individually packaged and are clean and hygienic.

Put the heating bag at the bottom, add water, place the rice, dried vegetables and potato beef in a white tori respectively, place it on top of the heating bag, add water to the rice, and close the lid. Wait 15 minutes and a steaming hot potato stewed beef rice will be ready. It’s really convenient!

The key is that the whole cooking process is done by yourself. It is absolutely clean and hygienic. It is much healthier than the takeaways that don’t contain gutter oil. It is also really convenient. From now on I am a fan of Kai Xiao Zao because of his strength.

Day 2 spent a whole day shopping and eating

From Leshan to Chengdu, I made an appointment with a friend to continue the food tour. Because it was the first time for the friend to come to Chengdu, so we arranged Wuhou Temple is a must-visit, as well as A4 Art Museum, a new niche attraction that I found online. I hope to be influenced by Chengdu’s literary and artistic atmosphere.

Itinerary: Wuhou Temple - Roadside - A4 Art Museum - Chengdu Eaters

Wuhou Temple

Ticket: 60 yuan

< p>Guide explanation: Download the app, you can listen to the explanation of the panoramic area for 6 yuan; in addition, the scenic spot also invites many primary school students to give explanations to tourists during holidays. You can hear many different stories by following these little commentators.

A story you must listen to: the story of being a disciple before and after

A photo spot not to be missed: Bamboo Shadows on the Red Wall

Address: Wuhou District, Wuhou District, Chengdu City No. 231, Ancestral Street

Wuhou Temple in Chengdu is the only temple in the country where monarchs and ministers are jointly worshipped and the most famous memorial site for Zhuge Liang, Liu Bei and Shu Han heroes. It is also the most influential Three Kingdoms relics museum in the world, with the "Holy Land of the Three Kingdoms" "The good name.

At first I was attracted by the photos of the red-walled bamboo forest in Wuhou Temple. I visited it once last winter and I will never forget it. This time when I came to Chengdu again, I walked into this place that I had been thinking about for more than half a year.

The weather in Chengdu is always cloudy and sunny. I was lucky today and got a sunny day, which made my mood brighter.

When you enter from the main entrance, you will first see the Ming and Tang steles on the left and right. The Tang stele brings together the articles of Pei Du, the famous prime minister of the Mid-Tang Dynasty, the calligraphy of the famous calligrapher Liu Gongchuo, and the sharp knife carvings of the carver Lu Jian. It is known as the "Three Unique Steles". Next is the Han Zhaodi Temple, and further back are the Wuhou Temple and Sanyi Temple. According to the tour guide's explanation, the three places dedicated to Liu Bei, Zhuge Liang and Guan Yu are respectively. On the red wall of the temple of Emperor Zhao of the Han Dynasty, there are two calligraphy carvings, namely Zhuge Liang's "The First Departure of the Teacher" and "The Later Departure of the Teacher". The article we recited when we were students "died before leaving the army, which made the hero burst into tears." "Brand" is the example of being a teacher in the past.

As soon as I arrived at Wuhou Temple, I went straight to the haunting red wall and bamboo forest road. This road goes around the entire siege of Wuhou Temple, with an entrance on the left and right. From whichever side you enter, you can exit from the other side and return to the starting point.

The towering red wall sometimes winds around and sometimes extends straight forward. The green bamboo behind the red wall grows straight upward, much higher than the red wall. The bright sunshine falls on the road and red walls along the gaps between the bamboos, leaving behind whirling bamboo shadows. As the sun shines on or off, the bamboo shadow is like a child playing hide and seek, sometimes revealing itself and sometimes hiding. This is a chase of light and shadow.
