Where does Taicang belong?

Taicang City, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province, is managed by Suzhou City and located in the southeast of Jiangsu Province, on the south bank of the Yangtze River estuary, between 3120 ′-3145 ′ north latitude and 0/20 58 ′-120 ′ east longitude. It faces the Yangtze River in the east, Chongming Island, Baoshan District and Jiading District in Shanghai across the river in the south, Kunshan City in the west and Changshu City in the north. The total area is 809.93 square kilometers. Taicang City belongs to the humid climate zone in the south of the north subtropical zone, characterized by abundant sunshine, distinct seasons, changeable spring and autumn, hot and rainy summer and cold and little rain in winter. By April 2020, Taicang will have six towns, 1 street and 1 economic development zone. The municipal government is located at No.99, Fudong Street, Loudong Street. By the end of 2020, the registered population will be 510.5 million.
