Typhoon Du arrived in Shandong.

Typhoon Du No.5 landed on the coast of Jinjiang City, Fujian Province around 9: 55 in 2023. When landing, the maximum wind force near the center 15 (50 m/s, strong typhoon level), and the lowest pressure in the center is 945 hectopascals. "Du Surui" moved to the north-north direction at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour, and its intensity weakened rapidly. On the 29th, it weakened into a tropical depression (magnitude 6-7), and on the 30th, it crossed the western part of Shandong and continued northward.

Du's influence on Shandong is mainly rainfall, with heavy precipitation in western and central Shandong from the night of 28th to the day of 3rd/kloc-0. The cumulative average precipitation in the whole province is 80 ~110mm, of which Heze, Jining, Zaozhuang, Linyi, Rizhao, Jinan, Taian, Zibo, Weifang West, Liaocheng, Dezhou, Dongying and Binzhou are100 ~150mm, and some of them exceed 250 mm.
