See the weatherman.

Spring has come, crickets are chirping, birds are singing, flowers are laughing, and small animals can't hold back. In fact, animals are most sensitive to weather changes. You may not know that there are 600 kinds of animals in the world that can be called "weathermen". The Intelligence Army admires these little animals, but today we invite them to talk about them. Learn from them, hehe ~

Have you ever heard the old man at home say that when you clearly hear the chirping of crickets at night, you can generally predict that tomorrow will be a fine day, suitable for going out on the road; When dragonflies fly around in the air, it indicates that there will be heavy rain in an hour or two, so please remember to take your umbrella out ... At that time, did you admire the observation ability of your elders? In fact, this is the special ability of small animals to predict the weather. Here are some small animals that can forecast the weather. After reading them, maybe you can become a weather forecast expert by observing these animals ~ it's amazing ~

It will rain when ants move.

If ants come out of the hole in droves, it indicates that heavy rain is coming. There has long been a saying that "ants are swarming, and it will not be sunny tomorrow". Before the rain, due to the increase of humidity in the air, the water absorbed by the soil increased greatly. So the nest of ants living in the soil becomes wet. Although they live underground, ants naturally like dryness and have an organ that senses water. Before the heavy rain, when the air humidity is high and the humidity is high, they keenly feel that it is going to rain, and the ants will climb out and move to high places to prevent being submerged by the rain. It is accurate to predict the weather by moving ants. Once it rains, they will move one place at a time. If they move lower, it will rain less. If you go higher, it means more rain. When ants block the entrance to the nest, it indicates that there will be heavy rain. This is because ants are very sensitive to changes in air pressure and humidity.

Observe the time when bees leave and return to their nests, and forecast sunny and rainy days.

Bees are hardworking people, and they must master the changes of sunny and rainy days, so it is most appropriate to rely on bees to "forecast" sunny and rainy days. When bees collect honey, they leave the nest early and return to the nest late, indicating that the next day is sunny; If you leave the nest late and come back early, it will rain soon; If it rains for several days in a row, bees will gather honey against the rain and say it will clear up tomorrow.

Spiders weave webs, and it will clear up after a long rain.

Spider webs indicate that the weather will turn from cloudy to sunny. On rainy days, if the air pressure increases and the humidity decreases, and insects fly high, spiders will open their nets to catch them. On the contrary, spiders will close their nets, which indicates that it will rain. As the saying goes, "spiders weave webs, and after the rain, it clears up."

The fish jumped out of the water and swam quickly.

The Intelligence Army tells you that animals in the water can predict the weather just like insects on land. Fish predict that the weather is "fish jump out of the water, and the wind and rain will come" and "fish play with flowers in the river, and it rains in the sky". When it rains, the weather is dreary and sultry, which reduces the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water, so fish float to the upper layer of the water and even breathe on the water.

A popular agricultural proverb says: "Little Xia Feng blew northwest, and carp flew to the corner", which means that little Xia Feng blew northwest, and it rained heavily, and carp jumped high out of the water. "When it rains and thunders in summer, fish and shrimp jump on the water"-It is sultry in summer, and fish and shrimp jump on the water one after another. Hairtail shoots an arrow and crosses the open sea (don't want to), which means that from the abnormal performance of hairtail, it can be seen that the wind is coming and fishermen should not fish in the open sea.

Dancing in loach water, heavy rain arrival

Misgurnus is the most common fish in water. The whole body is slippery, the back and sides are gray-black, the whole body is covered with small black spots, and there are big black spots at the tail handle. Small eyes have five pairs of tentacles around their mouths. Misgurnus likes to live on the still bottom of the water. Western Europeans call loach climate fish. When the weather is sultry and there is a serious lack of oxygen in the water before it rains, the loach is forced to run up and down. Its purpose is to breathe air, just like performing a dance in the water. This is a precursor to heavy rain.

A tropical fish living along the Mediterranean coast has a special function, which can "accurately" forecast the weather through the meteorological station. Local residents call it "meteorological fish" and keep it in fish tanks to observe the weather; If the fish wander along the cylinder wall, the weather is either cloudy or cloudy; If you are impatient on the water, it will definitely rain; If you lie motionless at the bottom of the tank, it must be sunny.

Jellyfish: "understandable" infrasound

Organisms have special structures and functions. When the sea is angry, the surging waves roar like a tribe. In this magnificent symphony, there is a kind of infrasound that people's ears can't feel. It is produced by the friction between air and waves, and its propagation speed is much faster than that of storms and waves. Take jellyfish as an example, it is one of the marine creatures that can "comprehend" infrasound waves. The infrasound generated by the storm hit the jellyfish suspended in the water. There is a hard otolith hidden in the ear cavity of the jellyfish, which stimulates the nerve receptors in the "ball", so the jellyfish immediately left the shore and swam to the slightly calm bottom of the deep sea to avoid the storm.

At the same time, jellyfish can predict the arrival of typhoons in advance. Its information comes from a small auditory stone on a jellyfish, just like a human ear. Infrasound waves generated by the friction between sea waves and air hit the ossicles and stimulate the peripheral nerve receptors, so that they can get information more than ten hours before the storm warning.
