The changes of Zhuyiba in Fengjie

When I was a child, there was a legend in my hometown: During the Three Kingdoms period, Liu Bei came to Fengjie from Chengdu, Shu State, to do business, so he wanted to stay in Kuizhou He built a palace in the government (now Fengjie County) and sent people to inspect it. They chose three places: the old county seat of Fengjie near Baidi City, Pinggao Shangba 30 miles north of the city, and Zhuyiba more than 20 miles west of the city. So, he sent people to dig out a liter of soil from each of the three places and weigh it. Wherever the soil is the heaviest, the palace will be built there. The final ranking is: Laogucheng, Zhujiaba and Pinggao Shangba in Fengjie today. Finally, we carefully decided to choose the confluence of Meixi River and Yangtze River. So the site was chosen in the current old county seat of Fengjie.

However, as the Three Gorges Hydropower Station on the Yangtze River impounded more than 175 meters of water, the old county seat of Fengjie was flooded. After repeated scientific inspections and demonstrations by national water conservancy and geological experts, the new county seat of Fengjie was finally removed from the landslide zone. The Baotaping and Sanmahou Mountains gradually moved westward to Zhuyiba.

You see, new high-rise buildings are rising in Zhuyiba today. The Chongqing-Fenghuang Expressway passes through Zhuyiba, and traffic is developed. In the past, the Zhuyi River was just a seasonal river, docile and obedient in the three seasons of spring, autumn and winter. But every summer, heavy rains cause disasters. Whenever flash floods occur, accompanied by mudslides, almost 1 to 5 people are swept away every year. It made the local villagers live in fear. At the same time, the dense crops on the dam were suddenly swept away by the flood, and the waves were so high that people looked at the river and sighed. If the sky is not beautiful, crop yields will be reduced and rivers will be polluted.

However, in recent years, with the new county seat moving westward to Zhuyiba, houses have been built in the town, and the construction of the new city has been rapid. On both sides of the Zhuyi River, the land has been filled to a height of tens of meters, and a large riverside park has been built. The population of residents has increased dramatically, and the area has become more prosperous and lively than ever before.

During the May Day holiday, I took bus No. 301 from Shanhe Hotel directly to Zhuyi Town. The beautiful scenery I saw along the way replaced the Zhuyiba I visited when I was a child.

Today’s Zhu Yiba is not recommended. What is presented in front of us is a wonderful scenery: vocational education centers, county government buildings, gymnasiums and other buildings have risen from the ground, and many factories, mines and enterprise buildings such as industrial parks are located here. The beautiful scenery of the street green belt and Riverside Park greets visitors and is breathtaking.

As soon as we got off the bus, we felt relaxed and happy. I have seen the rippling blue waves of Kunming Lake, and admired the mirror-like Swan Lake in my hometown, but I have never seen the Zhuyi River in front of me. The quiet Zhuyi River has become obedient, and it is no longer like the scene of rolling sand and surging yellow waves every summer. The water in Zhuyi River is so clear, as clear as buckets of Taihe Mineral Spring, crystal clear. The riverside slopes are covered with a layer of green vegetation. The water of the Zhuyi River is so tame. There are several high concrete steps at the mouth of the river. When the water flows down, a spectacular and eye-catching small waterfall is formed in an instant. What a beautiful scenery!

The imprint left by the wheels on the road is like a line, making it impossible to feel that the car is moving forward and the water is flowing backward. I have seen maples with fiery red leaves and green cypresses in Qutang Gorge, but I have never seen the willow branches floating here during the May Day holiday. The willow trees are so green, but the street trees are arranged neatly, like rows of rows. The soldiers looked energetic, as if they were waiting for the leader's review; some looked like slim girls, and some looked like meditating scholars. The beautiful scenery everywhere seems to constitute a landscape painting, which is a feast for the eyes. There are so many willows, the rows of willow trees are like green barriers; the willow branches are so beautiful, the willow branches are blown by the spring breeze, really like the hair of a beautiful woman, and the tree trunks are like human bodies, just like Tourists enjoy the beauty of Fengjie New County.

These weeping willows surround the clear water of Zhuyi River. Such clear water reflects the high-rise buildings of the new county, plus the peach trees and red flowers in the mountains. The riverside is crowded with tourists, plus people exercising, and a tape recorder is playing a string of Chinese songs, making people feel like they have walked into the promenade of the Summer Palace in Beijing. The beautiful and refreshing scenery in one place is more beautiful than the scenery in another place. It is really dizzying.

Every night, in the rapeseed fields on the hillside, under the navel orange trees and beside the red orange groves, fireflies dance; in the Zhuyi River, fish swim, frogs chirp, thousands of crows return to the trees, and thousands of birds Enter the nest. The new county town is brightly lit. The TV broadcast said: "Our life is sweeter than honey..."

The scenery of Fengjie New County is so beautiful, and it also demonstrates the hardworking and harmonious spirit of the more than 200,000 citizens in the county.

This is the second relocation of Fengjie citizens, and the city of Zhuyi has taken on a new look.
